Custom Decorators has immediate opportunities for experienced design &amp; sales professionals to partner with us as in-home custom window treatment Designers. This includes interior blinds, shades, shutters, drapery &amp; outdoor roller shades. 
Successful Designers that work for our company come from the following backgrounds:<ul><li>
Interior design, window treatment sales, flooring sales, closet design, kitchen &amp; bath remodels, and other home-investment &amp; remodeling services.</li><li>
Graduates with degrees in design or related fields.</li><li>
Independent design company owners who are looking to expand their business.</li><li>

Education and Experience<ul><li>
Previous sales experience required.</li><li>

Periods of standing and walking throughout the in-home and retail spaces.</li><li>
Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times (window treatment samples).</li></ul>

Job Duties<ul><li>
Contact customers in a timely manner to schedule and coordinate appointments</li><li>
Conduct in-home design consultations and obtain measurements for products including shutters and draperies</li><li>
Collect order payments and submit orders to be processed</li><li>
Receive products and verify that all products have arrived in good condition</li><li>
Professionally represent CDI and our retail partners</li><li>
Resolve issues while continuing to provide excellent customer service</li></ul> 
Requirements<ul><li>
In-home sales experience and proven measuring skills required</li><li>
Exceptional customer service and communication skills</li><li>
Extensive experience selling and installing Hunter Douglas blinds, shades and shutters or similar brands of equal quality</li><li>
Drapery experience is a plus and is required in some areas</li><li>
Leaves positive and lasting impressions during the sales process and after the installation is complete</li><li>
Strong organizational skills to schedule appointments and complete client orders</li><li>
Basic technical and computer skills</li><li>
Currently possess or willing to obtain liability insurance</li><li>
Possess all applicable state and local licenses</li></ul>
