II. Role Positioning 
CWILL is building data infrastructure to support business operations, product capabilities, customer service, analytics, and intelligent applications. As a US-side data engineer, you will participate in multi-source data ingestion, data lakehouse and warehouse development, data quality governance, data platform capability building, and AI Agent engineering automation exploration. 
We are looking for candidates with a solid foundation in SQL, Python, and data engineering &mdash; someone who can, with guidance from the existing data team, progressively take ownership of data ingestion, modeling, quality, and service tasks, while collaborating effectively with domestic data engineering, analytics, and business teams. 
This is not a pure data analysis, BI reporting, or one-off scripting role. It is a comprehensive data engineering position focused on data integration, data warehouse development, data platform capabilities, data services, and engineering automation. 
III. Role Mission 
Through stable, well-structured, and scalable data engineering capabilities, help the company unify, govern, model, and serve data scattered across business systems, SaaS platforms, external channels, and internal systems &mdash; improving the usability, accuracy, timeliness, and reusability of CWILL&rsquo;s data assets. 
This role is expected to continuously drive:<ul><li> 
More standardized data source ingestion</li><li>Clearer data lakehouse and warehouse structure</li><li>More automated data quality monitoring</li><li>More platform-driven data service capabilities</li><li>Progressive adoption of agent-based and automated approaches for data development, troubleshooting, documentation, and quality checks</li></ul> 
IV. Key Responsibilities 
1. Data Ingestion &amp; Pipeline Development<ul><li>Ingest data from internal and external business systems, third-party platforms, SaaS products, and external data sources; handle data collection, sync, cleansing, and loading</li><li>Participate in building offline and real-time data pipelines using SeaTunnel, Kafka, Flink, Spark, or similar technologies to improve ingestion stability and processing efficiency</li><li>Handle practical challenges in data sync: authentication, pagination, rate limiting, failure retry, incremental sync, backfill, schema changes, and task anomalies</li></ul> 
2. Data Warehouse &amp; Data Modeling<ul><li>Participate in layered data warehouse development across ODS, DWD, DWS, and ADS layers; build and maintain data models</li><li>Support business domain modeling, metric standardization, shared data model development, and core table maintenance</li><li>Optimize data organization and query performance on OLAP engines such as Doris to provide stable data support for product, operations, growth, customer success, and management analytics</li></ul> 
3. Data Quality &amp; Data Governance<ul><li>Build and maintain data quality rules for core data pipelines; ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and timeliness</li><li>Participate in data validation, anomaly detection, alerting, and issue resolution; help improve stability of critical data pipelines</li><li>Contribute to data governance capabilities including DataHub or similar tools; improve metadata management, data lineage, data asset catalog, and data standards</li></ul> 
4. Data Platform &amp; Data Services<ul><li>Participate in building data platform capabilities including data development, task scheduling, monitoring, quality management, governance, and service delivery modules</li><li>Use tools such as DolphinScheduler and StreamPark for task management, scheduling orchestration, and real-time task operations</li><li>Support the data service layer by delivering standardized APIs, metric services, and data capabilities to internal systems, analytics applications, and business tools</li><li>Support underlying data for tools like Superset; ensure data availability for BI dashboards, metric boards, and business monitoring</li></ul> 
5. AI Agent &amp; Engineering Automation<ul><li>Participate in designing and implementing data development automation tools and engineering agents</li><li>Explore AI agent applications in data development, governance, quality detection, task operations, anomaly diagnosis, and documentation generation</li><li>Leverage large language models and automation tools to improve data engineering efficiency, task stability, and platform intelligence</li></ul> 
Requirements 
Must-Have 
Experience<ul><li>1&ndash;4 years of experience in data engineering, data platforms, data warehousing, backend development, analytics engineering, or a related role</li><li>Real project experience in data ingestion, data pipelines, data warehouse development, data modeling, data services, or data platform work</li><li>Strong learning ability and execution skills; able to independently drive small-to-medium data engineering tasks with clear objectives</li></ul>

The Role
CWILL is hiring a hands-on Finance Manager to own day-to-day finance operations for our US entity while building scalable finance processes for the next stage of growth. This role is ideal for someone who can operate independently in an early-stage environment, maintain rigorous US GAAP standards, and translate business needs between US local operations and the China finance team.
You will manage full-cycle accounting, AP/AR, expense processes, tax and CPA coordination, payroll support, reporting, cash forecasting, internal controls, and finance support for sales and operations. The role requires both strong execution and the judgment to design practical processes as the US business scales.
What You Will OwnDaily Accounting and Finance Operations<ul><li>Own daily bank account and corporate credit card reconciliations; perform full-cycle bookkeeping for the US entity and support monthly and quarterly close.</li><li>Prepare financial statements and management reports as needed, including P&amp;L, balance sheet, cash flow, and variance analysis.</li><li>Build and improve employee expense reimbursement processes; review receipts and supporting documentation, ensure compliance, and maintain organized digital records.</li><li>Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor invoice review, local payment coordination, customer billing support, and collections follow-up as appropriate.</li><li>Calculate and review sales commissions based on approved incentive plans; participate in incentive-plan improvement discussions and provide channel ROI analysis with actionable recommendations.</li></ul>
Tax, Compliance, Payroll, and External Partners<ul><li>Act as the internal finance point of contact for external US CPA/tax advisors; organize clean financial data and support federal, state, local, income tax, and sales tax filings.</li><li>Monitor relevant US federal, state, and local finance/tax compliance requirements and flag risks or optimization opportunities to leadership.</li><li>Support transfer-pricing review and related cross-border finance documentation in coordination with the China finance team and external advisors.</li><li>Partner with HR to review and support US payroll and benefits administration through systems such as Deel, Gusto, or similar platforms, including payroll data review and tax withholding coordination.</li></ul>
Finance Process, Internal Controls, and Documentation<ul><li>Design and implement practical finance controls for CWILL&rsquo;s stage, including purchase approval workflows, payment authority matrices, reimbursement policies, and documentation standards.</li><li>Maintain fixed asset records for the US office and ensure finance records, contracts, invoices, receipts, and key legal documents are properly archived digitally and, where needed, physically.</li><li>Identify opportunities to automate, standardize, or simplify finance operations using modern tools such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, Ramp, Brex, Excel, and related systems.</li></ul>
US-China Collaboration, Budgeting, Cash Flow, and Financing Readiness<ul><li>Lead monthly and quarterly close for the US entity and establish a clear US-China accounting adjustment mechanism for differences between US GAAP and China reporting needs.</li><li>Partner with the US CEO on annual and rolling budgets; build weekly and monthly cash-flow forecasting models to support local operating decisions and overseas fund safety.</li><li>Manage the US banking relationship and support the full lifecycle of overseas funds management, including liquidity planning and conservative, low-risk cash-yield strategies where appropriate.</li><li>Prepare finance materials for future US financing activities, including investor diligence, third-party audit support, and clear explanations of US finance, tax, and compliance matters.</li></ul> 
Requirements 
 
What We Are Looking For<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; US CPA or CPA Candidate status is strongly preferred.</li><li>4+ years of hands-on US accounting/finance experience, including full-cycle accounting, close support, AP/AR, reconciliations, tax coordination, and reporting.</li><li>Experience in SaaS, Shopify ecosystem, cross-border e-commerce, technology, or startup environments is preferred.</li><li>Strong knowledge of US GAAP and practical familiarity with US tax and compliance workflows; ability to work effectively with external CPA/tax advisors.</li><li>Comfort with SaaS revenue and operating metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, deferred revenue, subscription billing, and investor/auditor expectations.</li><li>Experience reconciling high-volume, multi-source online payment activity such as Stripe, PayPal, Shopify payouts, or similar merchant/payment systems is a strong plus.</li><li>Proficiency with QuickBooks Online or Xero; familiarity with modern finance and operations tools such as Ramp, Brex, Deel, Gusto, or similar platforms.</li><li>Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills, including lookups, pivot tables, data cleaning, and financial analysis.</li><li>Native or professional-level English for working with US employees, banks, CPA/tax advisors, auditors, and investors; strong Mandarin Chinese ability for collaboration with China-based finance and leadership teams.</li><li>High integrity, discretion, accuracy, and ownership; able to manage confidential financial information responsibly.</li><li>Hands-on, low-ego operating style; comfortable working without a large finance team and independently handling detailed execution while building scalable processes.</li></ul>

Work Location and Relocation
This position is based in or near Cary, North Carolina. CWILL may consider a hybrid or remote work arrangement depending on business needs, the candidate&rsquo;s location, compliance considerations, and company policy. Candidates who are not already local must be able and willing to relocate to the Cary, NC area before onboarding/start date. Any relocation arrangement must be confirmed in writing by the company.
