 CXT Software provides the technology backbone for delivery operations, serving courier, last-mile, and healthcare logistics companies across North America. Following the merger of CXT Software and e-Courier, we&rsquo;ve brought together two established platforms to create the largest TMS purpose-built for last-mile and courier operations. Since being acquired by Ionic Partners, we&rsquo;re focused on driving operational efficiency, returning to profitable growth after a period of investment, and adding more acquisitions. We&rsquo;re not done, and we&rsquo;re looking to double our impact in the next three years and are looking for a CFO to help lead this next phase of growth.
 
 
 As one of the most senior leaders in the organization, you will join a top-notch team all singularly focused on driving growth, continuous improvement, and developing a company that excels at helping our customers realize efficiencies and grow their businesses. CXT is continuing its trajectory of organic growth while actively evaluating multiple additional strategic acquisitions to strengthen our capabilities and offer our served markets the leading technology solutions they deserve. As CFO, you will be front and center on such initiatives, as well as act as one of the key faces of the company for investors, lenders and customers. You will be supported by playbooks, best practices and senior leaders honed from decades of experience at Ionic to provide the help and collaboration you need to augment the experience and judgment you bring.

 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 Strategic Leadership:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Collaborate with the Executive Leadership Team to identify and address key business opportunities and risks and develop the internal processes, controls and platforms to drive scalable growth across functions
 </li>
 <li>
 Shape our strategic direction by providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis and market trends
 </li>
 <li>
 Drive long-range financial planning and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and sustainable growth
 </li>
 <li>
 Represent CXT in front of investors, lenders, and potential partners and acquirors, showcasing our financial health, operational excellence, and strategic plans
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 M&amp;A Leadership:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Lead critical M&amp;A activities, from due diligence to integration planning and execution
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with legal, operations, and third-party advisors to execute successful transactions
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead the financial integration of acquisitions, including systems alignment, reporting, and synergy tracking
 </li>
 <li>
 Prepare the company for future strategic transactions, including exit readiness and diligence processes
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Financial Oversight and Management:
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Prepare and present financial performance and strategic insights to the Board
 </li>
 <li>
 Implement scalable finance processes and platforms that consolidate legacy systems, streamline decision making and execution, and facilitate integration of new acquisitions and product lines
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and processes, developing controls and risk mitigation strategies to safeguard company interests
 </li>
 <li>
 Lead budgeting, board, and monthly reporting cycles, working closely with other leaders to provide constant visibility into current and expected performance
 </li>
 <li>
 Own key SaaS financial metrics, including ARR, retention, CAC/LTV, and unit economics, partnering closely with Revenue Operations to drive data-driven decision making
 
 
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Requirements
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 15+ years of total finance experience
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years in a software company, as a CFO or SVP/VP of Finance
 </li>
 <li>
 5+ years in a commercial business organization, as a Controller/VP Finance
 </li>
 <li>
 4+ years in a recognized accounting firm, preferably Big 4 (training through accounting and audit engagements) or as a business consultant or investment banker
 </li>
 <li>
 Proven leadership in driving cross-functional change or transformation
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in leading initial and subsequent financial audits
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in M&amp;A diligence, structuring and/or integration activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working with SaaS companies
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent communication and presentation skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Fluency in English

 Experience driving transformations, including process improvements and automation
