As a small and fast-growing company, we are looking for someone who can support not only accounting and bookkeeping, but also broader office operations and team coordination as the company continues to grow.Role DescriptionCynos Express LLC is seeking a full-time Office Manager / Bookkeeper to join our team in East Rutherford, NJ.This role will involve bookkeeping, administrative support, office management, and operational coordination for Cynos Express LLC, as well as remote bookkeeping responsibilities for multiple affiliated companies.Cynos Express is a startup and small business environment, this position may involve responsibilities beyond traditional accounting work. The ideal candidate should be flexible, detail-oriented, organized, and willing to contribute to a variety of tasks needed to support the team and help the company grow. In many ways, this role may function as a full-time office manager position with strong bookkeeping responsibilities.Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Manage daily bookkeeping and financial records</li><li>Perform remote bookkeeping for multiple affiliated companies</li><li>Use QuickBooks Online to maintain accurate books, records, reconciliations, and reports</li><li>Prepare financial documentation for quarterly and annual tax filings and coordinate with the external CPA</li><li>Track expenses, reimbursements, invoices, payments, and vendor records</li><li>Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and financial transactions</li><li>Prepare accurate and timely financial reports</li><li>Organize receipts, financial documents, company records, and administrative files</li><li>Assist with budget tracking and financial planning</li><li>Support audit preparation and document retrieval</li><li>Help maintain and improve accounting and office systems</li><li>Assist with general office management and administrative operations</li><li>Coordinate with leadership and team members to support daily business needs</li><li>Take on additional responsibilities as needed in a growing startup environment</li><li>Additional Responsibility: Remote bookkeeping support for multiple affiliated companies</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Experience with QuickBooks Online is required</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting or a related field preferred</li><li>Strong understanding of bookkeeping and basic accounting principles</li><li>Experience handling books for multiple companies or business entities preferred</li><li>Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills</li><li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail</li><li>Able to manage multiple responsibilities across different companies and departments</li><li>Comfortable working in a small business/startup environment</li><li>Willing to assist with both accounting and non-accounting office tasks</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>CPA certification is a plus</li><li>Korean language proficiency is a plus</li></ul>How to ApplyPlease submit your resume to hr@cynosexp.com.We look forward to learning how your skills and experience can contribute to Cynos Express LLC.Job Type: Full-timePay: From $40,000.00 per yearExperience:<ul><li>Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>East Rutherford, NJ 07073 (Preferred)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
