This position involves both assisting with personal care, mobility, and companionship, as well as accurately administering medications and maintaining proper documentation. If you&rsquo;re compassionate, detail-oriented, and dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors, we&rsquo;d love to have you on our team!Qualifications:<ul><li>High school graduate or GED.</li><li>Med Tech delegation preferred but not required</li><li>Assisted Living/Long Term Care experience preferred.</li></ul>Responsibilities:<ul><li>Responsible for delivering personal care to their residents while meeting their physical, mental, and social needs.</li><li>Reports any concerns or changes with residents&rsquo; health status.</li><li>Practices good standard care precautions of cleanliness, hygiene, and health.</li><li>Performs job duties in accordance with best practices and residents&rsquo; plan of care.</li><li>Helps residents maintain independence and promotes dignity and physical safety of each resident.</li><li>Assists residents with activities of daily living (i.e., showering assistance, dressing/grooming, meal prep/tray service, bed making, etc.) as instructed.</li><li>Assists residents with medication as defined in medication procedure; assists or supervises residents who self-administer the medication; follow physician orders and state laws to administer medications to residents who cannot self-administer their medications, and exhibits an understanding of and follows medication policies and procedures.</li><li>Laundry service, daily tidying of building, and trash collection</li><li>Engages residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.</li><li>Conducts self in a professional manner and in compliance with facility policies.</li><li>Promotes positive interactions with internal and external customers, visitors, residents, and team members.</li><li>Provides excellent customer service that supports resident care.</li><li>Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.</li><li>Participates in the identification of staff educational needs.</li></ul>Physical Requirements:<ul><li>Prolonged periods of standing and walking.</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds at times.</li></ul>Apply now and make a difference every day!
