<div>Job Purpose: Buyer is responsible for procuring products used in manufacturing, resale, and internal consumption. This role ensures uninterrupted business activities across all departments by maintaining timely and cost-effective purchasing strategies aligned with organizational needs
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>Procure components for manufacturing, resale, R&amp;D projects, and internal company use, including:
</li></ul>o Technical support and gunsmithing supplies (e.g., ammo, spare parts, custom orders, grips) and outside services 
o Warehouse materials (e.g., boxes, packaging) 
o Facility maintenance, repair, and operations needs 
o Capital expenditures 
<ul><li>Serve as a liaison between internal departments to fulfill supply needs.</li><li>Enter, update, receive, and reconcile purchase orders; assist with inventory put-away as needed.</li><li>Track orders to ensure accurate and timely delivery.</li><li>Communicate with vendors regarding new items, shipments, discrepancies, and invoicing.</li><li>Assist in evaluating bids based on commercial and technical factors.</li><li>Negotiate contracts with key suppliers, focusing on cost, service, quality, and terms.</li><li>Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors to ensure effective communication and understanding.</li><li>Maintain records in compliance with company policies, procedures, and audit guidelines.</li><li>Collaborate with subject matter experts at CZ-USA and maintain technical knowledge of the CZ-USA product line.</li><li>Utilize internal systems to run reports and manage purchase orders.</li><li>Actively maintain and participate in professional development through education, publications, networking, and contributions to industry organizations.</li><li>Support department colleagues and receiving personnel as needed.</li><li>Complete assigned tasks and required paperwork accurately and on time.</li><li>Ensure regular and timely attendance to maintain workflow continuity.</li><li>Maintain a clean and organized work area.</li><li>Complete other tasks assigned by supervisor or management.

</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:

Education 2 Year Degree
Required Experience &amp; Skills<ul><li>Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment, or demonstrated proficiency in these areas.</li><li>Functional knowledge of firearm basics and adherence to firearm safety practices.</li><li>Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.</li><li>Exceptional accuracy, punctuality, attention to detail, and reliability.</li><li>Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.</li><li>Effective negotiation skills and ability to manage supplier relationships.</li><li>Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.</li><li>Demonstrates a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, while consistently operating with a high degree of integrity.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li><li>Experience in using email, phone systems, and internal company software.</li><li>Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.</li></ul>
Preferred Experience &amp; Skills<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Purchasing or Supply Chain Management</li><li>Purchasing or Supply Chain Management Accreditations (CPP, CPPM, CGPP, CPDW, CPSM, CPSD)</li></ul>

Additional Eligibility Requirements<ul><li>Must be at least 18 years old.</li><li>Ability to legally possess firearms under applicable laws.</li><li>Must know basic firearms safety.</li><li>Ability to pass a criminal background test and drug test.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS &amp; WORKING CONDITIONS:
The following are the physical requirements of this position, which all workers filling the position must be able to do or withstand each day: 
Workload: Perform light work&mdash;lifting up to 20 lbs occasionally, 10 lbs frequently, and negligible weight constantly to move objects.
Vision: Maintain close visual acuity for computer work, data analysis, reading, and color recognition.
