As an Exercise Planning &amp; Evaluation Specialist, you will help shape the readiness, responsiveness, and effectiveness of a Cyber Security Operations Center (CSOC) supporting federal, DoD, and Intelligence Community partners.

In this role, you'll design and execute high-impact cyber exercises that challenge defenders, test tools and procedures, and uncover opportunities to evolve our cyber posture. <h2 class="jobSectionHeader">What You'll Do</h2>

You will be at the center of planning, coordinating, and evaluating cyber exercises that enhance the CSOC's mission readiness. Your work will help test and validate the performance of people, processes, and technology across a range of real-world threat scenarios.

You will:
<ul>
<li>Lead CSOC participation in all internal and external cyber and business continuity exercises&mdash;across Federal, DoD, IC Operations Centers, Red/Blue Teams, CTE Teams, and mission partners.
</li>
<li>Coordinate and facilitate exercise planning efforts to maximize engagement from all CSOC personnel&mdash;government and contractor, day and after-hours shifts.
</li>
<li>Create and execute realistic, scenario-driven exercises to evaluate tool effectiveness, operational processes, defensive tactics, and team readiness.
</li>
<li>Develop and maintain exercise documentation, planning artifacts, evaluation metrics, and execution materials.
</li>
<li>Produce detailed After-Action Reports (AARs) that capture key findings and provide actionable recommendations for operational improvement.
</li>
<li>Contribute to the weekly CSOC Status Report with updates on exercise activities and outcomes.
</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with internal and external mission stakeholders to ensure alignment, participation, and continuous improvement.
</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">What You Bring</h2>

Required:
<ul>
<li>Active TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a polygraph.
</li>
<li>6+ years of experience in Information Assurance with demonstrated expertise in exercise planning or cyber readiness activities.
</li>
<li>Ability to meet DoDD 8140.01 and DoD 8570.01-M requirements, including IAT Level II and CSSP Auditor certifications (must obtain within six months if not already held).
</li>
</ul><h2 class="jobSectionHeader">Preferred Qualifications</h2>
<ul>
<li>Master's degree in a relevant technical or cybersecurity field.
</li>
