<ul><li>Deliver professional, courteous customer service to military personnel, dependents, retirees, government civilians, contractors, and other authorized individuals.</li>
<li>Assist customers with CAC and Uniformed Services ID card services in accordance with DoD and government policies.</li>
<li>Review identification documents and supporting paperwork to verify eligibility prior to processing.</li>
<li>Enter, update, and maintain customer and personnel data in DEERS/RAPIDS and other approved government systems.</li>
<li>Support issuance, renewal, replacement, and termination of ID cards using authorized equipment and procedures.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate records of card issuance, customer transactions, appointments, and administrative actions.</li>

SOD Clerks provide front-line customer service by phone, email, and in-person walk-in support; they triage requests, create and update service orders, and coordinate notifications with DPW service providers while maintaining accurate documentation in Government systems.</div>
