What You'll Do: 
<ul>
<li>Perform scheduled and emergency maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs on UST/AST systems and components at retail/commercial fueling centers including dispensers, pumps, controllers, POS consoles, printers, fuel management systems, leak detection equipment, lighting and electrical systems, valves, piping and more!</li>
<li>Take daily directions from the Service Manager or Service Dispatcher</li>
<li>Respond to after-hours emergency service requests for "site down" or other priority situations in an on-call rotation</li>
<li>Perform required prerequisite work necessary to obtain and maintain certification from original equipment manufacturers</li>
<li>Follow all customer protocols and procedures including customers safety and housekeeping guidelines</li>
</ul>
What We're Looking For: 
<ul>
<li>Industry Experience: Experience with petroleum equipment service and maintenance, along with certifications in the following areas, is highly preferred.</li>
<li>Gilbarco Certification (REQUIRED)</li>
<li>Verifone, Passport, Ruby point-of-sale systems</li>
<li>Veeder Root, Franklin Evos tank monitoring systems</li>
<li>Red Jacket, Franklin motors and controllers</li>
<li>Nebraska A/B State UST/AST certification</li>
<li>Customer Service Driven: Available to be on call and capable of completing all work efficiently while maintaining strong client relationships</li>
<li>A Strong Educational Foundation: High school diploma or GED required</li>
<li>Pre-Employment Testing: Must pass drug test, background and DMVR check.</li>

D&H United Fueling Solutions, Inc., a fast-growing leader in the petroleum services industry, is looking for experienced, energetic, hardworking Light Duty Construction Technician in Western North Carolina - Newland, NC.
 
Light Duty Construction Technician assist in the installation of fueling systems including Installing underground and aboveground tanks, installing fuel dispensers, cleaning and replacing spill containment systems, busting and removal of concrete, piping, electrical wiring, excavating, and other petroleum related work
 
Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Conduct work on construction projects, concrete removal and replacement, manhole and spill containment replacements</li>
<li>Framing, pouring, mixing, and finishing small portions of concrete</li>
<li>Operate equipment such as company work truck, skid steers, forklift, man-lift following all equipment and company safety protocols</li>
<li>Ensure safe housekeeping practices are always followed, including job cleanup at the end of each day</li>
<li>Maintain tools and equipment to ensure all are in proper and safe working order</li>
<li>Verify accuracy and compliance of tasks in progress to comply with codes, project specifications and manufacturer requirements</li>
<li>Create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, clients, and supervisors)</li>
</ul>
Qualifications: 
<ul>
<li>Must be willing to travel occasionally and work out of town including overnight stays; amount of travel will vary</li>
<li>Exhibit a professional demeanor, and develop customer relations and superior service</li>
<li>High school diploma or GED (required)</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (required)</li>
<li>Pass a drug test and background check. (required)</li>
<li>Class A CDL Preferred, but will pay to certify the right individual</li>
<li>Experience in construction work helpful and any heavy equipment operation is a PLUS</li>
<li>Troubleshooting skills/logical problem-solving skills</li>
</ul>
