The right candidate will assist the Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Agents with the management of all Purchasing functions. Learn the different aspects of the Purchasing department and the methods within the company, support company policies, suggest improvements within the system and execute policies to ensure compliance with quality standards.</p><p>
</p><p><b>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b> include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</p><ul><li>
The intern will also be encouraged to explore other areas of interest to learn more about the general operations of the company; vision both within and outside of the assigned department that will be supplemental to the learning experience</li><li>
Conducts all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company</li><li>
Ability to work overtime</li><li>

Education and/or Experience</b></p><ul><li>
Must currently be enrolled in an accredited 4-year college or university and seeking a Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in a related field</li><li>

Proficiency with MS Office and email</li><li>
Ability to sit for the majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and peripheral vision</li><li><p>

D.R. Horton, Inc.</b> is currently looking for a <b>Division Counsel</b>. The right candidate will oversee and coordinate all division legal matters, with an emphasis on land acquisition.</div><br>

Essential Duties and Responsibilities</b> include the following. Other duties may be assigned.</div><br>
<div></div>
<ul><li>Provide legal advice related to land acquisition, land use, entitlement, zoning, and development, including reviewing and drafting contracts, title and land development documents, and other related documents; working with the title company, municipalities, and special districts; handling closings; consulting with and coordinating with outside counsel</li><li>Review and revise homebuyer contract documents; advise regarding RESPA issues, FHA/VA compliance and other home sale issues</li><li>Review and revise homeowner association documents and provide advice on homeowner association issues. Review marketing contract and programs; draft documentation as necessary</li><li>Assist in managing division litigation, including coordination with outside counsel regarding active and potential litigation matters; the provision of documents and information pertinent to active or potential litigation; attendance at hearings, settlement conferences, and related proceedings</li><li>Assist and advise the Division Human Resources Manager with manager training regarding employment policies and practices</li><li>Assist and advise the Division Human Resources Manager regarding safety programs, the review and revision of manual and written policies, and safety issues including OSHA</li><li>Review and revise subcontractor contract documents, handle disputes</li><li>Provide advice regarding employment matters and issues</li><li>Provide advice regarding legal issues in construction and warranty</li><li>Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner to serve customers and increase the goodwill and profit of the company</li><li>Ability to travel overnight</li><li>Handle customer disputes; coordinate with outside counsel as necessary</li><li>Provide advice regarding various other division matters</li><li>Assist in drafting job descriptions</li></ul><div></div><div><br>
