Position PurposeThe Role Holder is responsible for developing and implementing key raw material procurement strategies / purchase schedules, ensuring that these strategies / schedules are aligned with organizational objectives while optimizing cost of procurementStrategic Responsibilities&middot; Plan, build &amp; execute a strategic sourcing methodology ensure cost optimization&middot; Identify and develop vendors for obtaining timely procurement, involved in techno-commercial negotiations and finalize&middot; Contracts.&middot; Develop strategic partnerships with vendors.&middot; Develop raw material sourcing strategies, vendor identification management; establishing vendor qualification and re-&middot; qualification process.&middot; Provide support in assessing supplier quality and develop parameters for choosing the right suppliers&middot; Plan and implement best practices in supplier quality and vendor development&middot; Drive identification of supply chain risk and developing mitigation strategies.Operational Responsibilities&middot; Ensure timely procurement of right quality of raw material, Engineering items and packing material.&middot; Ensure procurement cost is well within budgeted cost&middot; Maximize creditors day by higher credits on inputs and low inventories&middot; Maintain ARC/AMC of service providers&middot; Keep track on all legal aspects and ensure compliance with statutory requirements&middot; Ensure all measures required for maintaining various ISO systems&middot; Assist in identifying non-moving items as per norms and propose NPA in consultation with Engineering, Packaging Lab &amp; Quality Control department&middot; Ensure material reconciliation with sub-contractors as per defined frequency and maintenance of proper records for&middot; outsourcing&middot; Facilitate resolution of problems related to misunderstanding or misinterpretation of product specifications or quality&middot; standards&middot; Vendor Development&middot; Identify materials with vendor development needs&middot; Consolidate requirement across materials with vendor synergy and collate specifications&middot; Provide guidance for market scanning of potential vendors&middot; Float RFI/RFP to identified vendors&middot; Shortlist vendors and conduct rate negotiations&middot; Supplier Relationship Management&middot; Ensure clear supplier segmentation&middot; Review classification of active suppliers into strategic/ critical/ leverage/ routine segments&middot; Support supplier performance evaluation&middot; Provide supplier scores on &lsquo;Responsiveness&rsquo; to assess supplier quality&middot; Evaluate outcome of supplier evaluation and send automated scorecards to suppliers&middot; Support supplier risk assessment&middot; Evaluate outcome of supplier risk scored and take necessary action&middot; Identify supplier development initiatives&middot; Basis outcome of supplier performance evaluation and risk assessment, identify development initiatives&middot; Prioritize initiatives and monitor implementation of initiatives as per annual action plan&middot; Supplier Quality Management&middot; Implement quality systems and implementation for product quality consistency with outsourcing partners and suppliers&middot; Establish annual budget for Sourcing &amp; Vendor Development team and ensure that the team operates within the budget.&middot; Maintaining day to day work and reports in systems provided by company.&middot; Must prepare QMS documentation and Face QMS audits.People Responsibilities&middot; Inform &amp; discuss supplier quality related matters with suppliers &amp; internal customers&middot; Facilitate initiatives for training need identification and building requisite skills &amp; competencies through systematic training &amp; skill-upgradation initiatives for the team.&middot; Actively drive, in conjunction with the Senior Management Team, the performance management process of the team&middot; Recognize &amp; reward excellent performers &amp; affirm key contributions of employees toward the achievement of goals &amp; objectives of the team&middot; Inspire &amp; motivate employees through demonstrated commitment to PI&rsquo;s values, vision &amp; mission and active participation in&middot; various team engagement activities ScrapEducation Qualification&middot; B.E.
