<div><b>Overview:</b><br>
Our client is seeking an experienced Data Engineer who will support the implementation, configuration, and operationalization of Client&rsquo;s Globus Managed File Transfer (MFT) platform within a GCP-hosted Data DMZ environment.<br>
<br>
<b>Key Responsibilities:</b>
<ul><li>Completing Globus Connect Server deployment, configuring storage gateways and data transfer workflows, and onboarding research users while providing Tier 1/2 operational support.</li>
<li>The role will focus on managing large-scale, secure data transfers, maintaining platform health, optimizing performance, and ensuring compliance with security and governance standards (HIPAA, NIST, Zero-Trust).</li>
<li>The contractor will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to establish operational processes, support production readiness, and deliver documentation and knowledge transfer to enable long-term ownership by the Enterprise Interfaces team.</li>
</ul><b>Position Requirements:</b>
<ul><li>3+ years Globus platform experience (GCS v5, endpoints, collections)</li>
<li>Strong GCP (Compute Engine, Cloud Storage, IAM, networking)</li>
<li>Linux system administration and scripting (Bash)</li>
<li>Understanding of GridFTP and high-throughput data transfers</li>
<li>Experience with networking, security, and Zero-Trust principles</li>
<li>Background in MFT or large-scale data transfer environments</li>
<li>Self-directed troubleshooting across infrastructure layers</li>
<li>Strong communication with technical teams and end users</li>
<li>Ability to support research/customer-facing workflows</li>
<li>Documentation and knowledge transfer mindset</li>
<li>Comfortable navigating governance and compliance processes</li>
<li>Pro Desk API</li>
<li>Resume highlighting Globus, GCP, and MFT experience -Short summary aligned to role requirements</li>

<ul><li>Healthcare / regulated environment experience</li>
<li>Terraform / IaC or Azure DevOps exposure</li>
