Administrative &amp; Compliance AssistantJob SummaryDabco Transportation is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative &amp; Compliance Assistant to support our growing operations. This role is responsible for compliance documentation, filing regulatory reports, entering and maintaining data across multiple systems, supporting billing processes, and assisting with bookkeeping functions in QuickBooks.The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable working with detailed records while managing multiple administrative responsibilities. This position plays a critical role in ensuring our company remains organized, compliant, and efficient in daily operations.Responsibilities<ul><li>Prepare, organize, and file compliance documents and regulatory reports.</li><li>Maintain accurate driver, vehicle, insurance, and operational records.</li><li>Enter and update data within company software systems and databases.</li><li>Assist with accounts receivable, invoicing, billing, and payment tracking.</li><li>Support bookkeeping activities and data entry within QuickBooks.</li><li>Review documents for accuracy and completeness before submission.</li><li>Manage digital and physical filing systems to ensure records are organized and accessible.</li><li>Monitor deadlines for permits, registrations, insurance certificates, and compliance requirements.</li><li>Communicate with drivers, customers, vendors, and internal team members regarding documentation and administrative needs.</li><li>Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and provide general administrative support.</li><li>Assist with special projects and other office duties as assigned.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous administrative, clerical, compliance, bookkeeping, or office support experience preferred.</li><li>Strong computer skills</li><li>Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software a plus.</li><li>Excellent data entry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.</li><li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability.</li></ul>What We're Looking ForWe are looking for someone who takes pride in staying organized, enjoys working with detailed information, and can help keep our compliance, billing, and administrative processes running smoothly. You'll be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting freight on designated routes.
