About the Role</b></div><br>

The <b>HSE Team Leader (Saudi Talent)</b> role is based in Riyadh, and is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and environmentally with strong field leadership capability and hands-on experience in implementing safety systems across service, installation, and turnkey project environments. Operating within a structured, multinational organization, you will lead the safety team, strengthen compliance, and drive safety culture transformation across all Daikin KSA operations.</div><br>

In this leadership role, you will oversee site-level safety performance, coach and guide safety officers, ensure alignment with Daikin Group standards, and support both operational execution and strategic safety initiatives. You will be a central point of coordination for governance, reporting, regulatory compliance, and subcontractor safety management within Saudi Arabia.</div><br>

Safety Leadership &amp; Governance</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Lead and supervise safety officers, ensuring consistent execution of safety procedures and operational controls.</li>
<li>Implement and enforce Daikin&rsquo;s HSE policies, objectives, and standards across all KSA business units.</li>
<li>Ensure end-to-end compliance with SFDA, MOMRAH, HCIS, Saudi Labor Law, and other statutory HSE requirements.</li>
<li>Serve as the primary escalation point for critical safety issues, high-risk findings, and incident investigations.</li></ul><br>

Risk Control &amp; Field Oversight</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Conduct high-priority inspections, audits, and deep-dive compliance reviews across project, service, and installation sites.</li>
<li>Validate JSA, Risk Assessments, Permit-to-Work systems, and site-specific HSE plans.</li>
<li>Oversee emergency preparedness, drills, and alignment with Daikin MEA standards.</li></ul><br>

Incident Management &amp; Continuous Improvement</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Lead root cause investigations using structured methodologies (5-Why, Fishbone, fault-tree).</li>
<li>Ensure timely closure of CAR/NCRs and track recurring patterns to recommend systemic improvements.</li>
<li>Contribute to regional HSE dashboards, KPI reviews, and performance tracking.</li></ul><br>

People Development &amp; Engagement</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Mentor junior safety officers to uplift capability, ownership, and field effectiveness.</li>
<li>Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, refresher training, and awareness campaigns.</li>
<li>Promote behavioural safety, BBS-based initiatives, and positive safety culture across technicians and subcontractors.</li></ul><br>

Subcontractor &amp; Stakeholder Management</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Lead subcontractor HSE prequalification, compliance checks, and periodic evaluations.</li>
<li>Coordinate closely with operations, projects, service, warehouse, and external partners to ensure safe execution of all activities.</li></ul><br>

<div><b>
What You Need to Succeed</b></div><br>
<div></div>
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree/Diploma in Engineering or Occupational Health &amp; Safety.</li>
<li>Minimum 7 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in a Supervisory or Team Lead role in a manufacturing or industrial environment; HVAC, metal fabrication, or similar industries preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of KSA regulatory bodies and statutory HSE frameworks.</li>
<li>Proven ability to lead audits, risk assessments, and high-complexity incident investigations.</li>
<li>Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with digital HSE reporting tools or Power BI is an advantage.</li>
<li>Effective leadership, communication, analytical thinking, and conflict-resolution skills.</li>
<li>Must have NEBOSH IGC or equivalent HSE certification.</li>
<li>Strong working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and risk management practices.</li>
<li>First Aid &amp; Fire Warden (preferred)</li>
<li>Valid NCOSH individual license (Practitioner or Professional track) &ndash; Mandatory.</li>
<li>Strong field presence, ethical, proactive, and able to lead under pressure.</li>
<li>Ability to influence diverse teams and contractors.</li>
