<p>
Under general supervision, perform daily office, environmental health and safety (EHS) and human resources (HR) support duties. Support human resources activities, including recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and general HR functions. Perform office/facility duties such as mail service, purchasing, shipping, inventory management, reporting, accounts receivables/payables, and general operations support. Play a key role in keeping the office/facility running smoothly. Respond to the needs of internal and external customers. Perform duties in accordance with standard procedures.</p>

</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h1>
<ul><li>Verify and review for accuracy the raw manifest and balance with the Council.
</li><li>Support EHS-related activities, training, communication, and record keeping.
</li><li>Maintain office filing records system, answer phones,
</li><li>Schedule plant or location tours, arrange meetings, and facilitate various location activities</li>
<li>Retrieve and sort incoming mail and deliveries</li>
<li>Gather invoices, match invoices with purchase orders and back up, and process invoices for payment</li>
<li>Complete scheduled and ad-hoc reports (downtime reports, safety reports, HR reports)</li>
<li>Assist with or serve as a records coordinator in the records retention process</li>
<li>Review contracts for deadlines, monitor performance of office supply contractors, and authorize payment to office services and supply vendors including providers of coffee, dairy products for office use, copier servicing and billing, cleaning, f irst aid, mailing equipment, trash, recycling and other various office vendors</li>
<li>Maintain safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues
</li><li>Participate in weekly safety observation program
</li><li>Participate in monthly GMP inspection program
</li><li>Exhibit the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America through honesty, discretion, and sound judgement
</li><li>Follow all DFA GMPs and work in a manner consistent with all corporate and regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements</li>
<li>Adhere to all DFA Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and procedures in a manner consistent with all corporate regulatory, food safety, quality and sanitation requirements; and report any nonconformity</li>
<li>Attend required training, including but not limited to, Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
</li><li>Maintain an orderly and well-stocked office supply room, office, kitchen, and common areas; inventory, order, and put away supplies</li>
<li>Maintain a cooperative working relationship with customers, vendors, employees and peers</li>

<h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE</b></h1>
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li>
<li>Some college coursework, preferably in human resources, preferred</li>
<li>1 to 3 years of administrative support, office coordination, human resources, or related experience</li>
<li>Certification and/or License &ndash; may be required during course of employment</li>
</ul>

</div><p></p><p><b>Job Duties and Responsibilities</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Operate blending equipment and cheese grinder to prepare raw materials and ingredients according to batch specifications</li>
<li>Open and handle various sizes of cheese and ingredient packages, using knives and cutting tools safely</li>
<li>Accurately measure ingredients using scale systems and other devices, and perform basic math calculations for batching processes</li>
<li>Read batch records, scan ingredient barcodes, and label batched ingredients with correct information to maintain accurate documentation</li>
<li>Enter production data into SAP software and maintain complete shift pass-down communication with co-workers</li>
<li>Move pallets of ingredients and raw materials using manual or electric pallet jacks</li>
<li>Assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize machinery and equipment following SSOPs, including COP (Clean Out of Place) and CIP (Clean In Place) processes, using steam hoses and chemicals as required</li>
<li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, completing housekeeping checks and paperwork daily</li>
<li>Assist in cooking process and other production areas as directed by leadership, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork</li>
<li>Report food safety and quality concerns promptly to management and comply with GMP standards and company protocols</li>

<p><b>Qualifications</b></p>

<ul><li>High School Diploma or GED preferred</li>
<li>Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or machine operation experience</li>
<li>Prior experience in food production or operating automated equipment</li>
<li>Ability to read and follow batch records and ingredient information</li>
<li>Basic math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals)</li>
<li>Proficiency with basic computer systems (SAP experience a plus)</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions</li>
<li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English</li>
</ul><h4 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Physical &amp; Work Environment</b></h4>
<ul><li>Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 55 lbs frequently</li>
<li>Work in a typical manufacturing environment with exposure to chemicals, noise, and varying temperatures</li>
