The SR Sitecore Developer will provide development skills to efficiently develop code that can be leveraged across multiple sites. Collaborate on technical design sessions, providing input on best practices, and build applications that are efficient, secure, scalable, and offer a high-quality user experience.
Duties and Responsibilities of the Position:
<ul><li>Design, develop, and implement websites and applications using Sitecore CMS and other web technologies.</li>
<li>Work closely with the Sitecore Architect to execute business-critical projects from our strategic roadmap and be involved in different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to implement software solutions.</li>
<li>Work closely with other developers, UX/UI designers, business analysts, and project managers of the digital team to deliver high-quality solutions and fully integrate the user experience across multiple platforms.</li>
<li>Build scalable and reusable Sitecore components for multi-brand initiatives with Sitecore Experience</li>
</ul>Accelerator (SXA).
<ul><li>Deliver code that can be leveraged across multiple sites and tenants, focusing on reuse rather than</li>
</ul>rebuilding.
<ul><li>Develop new templates and layout new web page designs using responsive and reusable renderings in the content management system for the organizations various websites.</li>
<li>Ensure and advise on the technical feasibility of User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) designs.</li>
<li>Develop APIs for Sitecore to interact with other systems, including external data sources and web services.</li>
<li>Styling sites and synchronizing changes using Creative Exchange that works with gulp tasks to make</li>
</ul>changes to themes and other content.
<ul><li>Support on critical environment or application issues and execute tasks on time and within the committed time</li>
</ul>timeframes.
<ul><li>Perform other duties as needed.</li>
</ul>Required Experience and Education:
<ul><li>Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.</li>
<li>Experience in XM Cloud a plus</li>
<li>4+ years of full-stack development experience.</li>
<li>Knowledge of SEO, web performance optimization, Google Analytics, Log Rocket, HotJar, etc</li>
<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities</li>
<li>4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.</li>
<li>4+ years of experience developing responsive websites or applications using page templates, layouts, and renderings in content management systems.</li>
<li>4+ years experience with Sitecore 9+ and C# /.NET preferred</li>
<li>Proficient in responsive web design best practices.</li>
<li>4 years of experience in developing wireframes and working with any HTML editor (like Dreamweaver), HTML5, Photoshop, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS3).</li>
<li>jQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, ASP.NET, Content Management Systems, Web Analytics Experience, and PHP preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in Sitecore SXA, MVC with Razor, JQuery/JavaScript, HTML5, SASS/CSS, ASP .Net, Content Management Systems, Gulp, Visual Studio 2017+, and SQL Server preferred</li>
<li>Experience in following HELIX principles and Coveo or SOLR search preferred</li>
<li>Experience in microservice architecture, Akamai, Azure DevOps, or JIRA preferred</li>
