Dal-Tile is currently seeking an exceptional Showroom Sales Specialist to join our TEAM! As the Showroom Sales Specialist , we need someone to provide interior design and product selection advice, product expertise, and thorough follow-up to facilitate customer experience and influence sales/purchasing decisions. Uses the showroom as a selling tool to drive specifications, sales, and brand awareness.
Saturdays are required for this role
Primary Responsibilities:
<ul><li>Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitates tile and stone selection, and project development/support, ensuring the completion of selection/sales for all customers.</li>
<li>Logs all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CMT. Effectively communicates with customers and internal team members to follow the lead and ensure tracking/follow-up and sales closure. Reports sales closures monthly.</li>
<li>Prospects for new business with an emphasis on Custom Builders and Residential Designers. Makes outside sales calls as needed and follows up on leads to grow and drive business. Logs all customer showroom visits/appointments, contact information, and detailed customer preference and selection notes in CMT.</li>
<li>Maintains showroom samples and merchandising, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining models and displays. Ships customer examples as needed to drive sales. Maintains contact with suppliers/locally sourced vendors to keep current on design and product offerings and complies with Marketings standards for proper showroom merchandising, including new product launches and drops.</li>
<li>Plans and hosts showroom tours and small and large events for industry trade to drive customer sales. Attends outside trade events to develop industry relationships and build brand awareness.</li>
<li>Evening and weekend hours are required.</li>
</ul>Experience and Knowledge Required
<ul><li>A four-year degree in a related field, four years of related experience, or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience.</li>
<li>Competencies: Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service, Design/sketching/reading blueprints/color coordination/interior design trends/customer buying habits/creative thinking.</li>
<li>Ability to approach unfamiliar situations and conceptualize innovative and imaginative solutions easily, using creative skills to document and sell them to clients.</li>
<li>Computer skills MS Office, MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Customer management tools a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary to effectively interact with customers, team members, management, and other internal and external customers to build positive interpersonal relationships with various business partners.</li>

Showroom Sales Specialist

Dal-Tile is currently seeking a Lead Body Prep Operator to join our MFG TEAM! As the Lead Body Prep Operator, we need someone to unload and load raw materials, monitor flow of material and perform quality control checks on product.
Primary Objective
Monitors flow of raw materials through body prep process. Supervises the body prep production crew in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
Major Function and Scope
<ul><li>Assists the Shift Supervisor that all company policies are adhered to.</li>
<li>Unloads raw materials from railcar and transports to storage bins.</li>
<li>Loads raw materials into hopper.</li>
<li>Monitors flow of material through ball mill and into spray dryers.</li>
<li>Performs various tests to ensure body materials are within specifications and documents results.</li>
<li>Monitors equipment or processes and reports problems to supervisor.</li>
<li>Follows standard operating procedures.</li>
<li>Keeps area safe, clean and organized.</li>
<li>Performs other related duties as required.</li>
</ul>Experience and Knowledge Required
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent experience.</li>
<li>2 years manufacturing experience.</li>
</ul>Competencies
Routinely working at a height that requires fall protection. Good oral communication skills. Good listening skills. Ability to understand and speak basic English.
