Job Purpose</b></h2></div><div><p>
The Materials Inventory and Planning Team Lead is responsible for managing material flow, inventory accuracy, and production planning to ensure timely availability of components for manufacturing operations.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Job Duties and Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><p>
Job Responsibilities:<br>
Inventory<br>
1. Annual Physical Inventory (API)<br>
a. Leads the effort in planning, organizing, and facilitating the API<br>
b. Ensures the inventory accuracy meets the variance targets<br>
c. Ensures that the API is completed when expected and during allotted timeframe<br>
2. Cycle Counting<br>
a. Manages 3 hourly cycle counters and the cycle counting process<br>
b. Reviews ABC&rsquo;s and ensure counts are done timely and accurately<br>
c. Investigates and makes inventory adjustments as needed within the authority level of the role.<br>
d. Ensure that the accuracy of the system through the supervision of the cycle counters and monitoring of the inventory levels.<br>
3. Inventory KPI&rsquo;s<br>
a. Monitor Inventory KPI&rsquo;s such as inventory value and DOH to ensure proper coverage to orders without exceeding inventory targets<br>
Planning<br>
1. Manages the 3 salary planners for the Fort Wayne plant ensuring the proper flow of material into the plant to support production while still maintaining inventory targets<br>
2. Be the Liaison between the plant and the supplier<br>
3. Build standard operating instructions and procedures for planning activities, KPI&rsquo;s, and reports.<br>
4. Analyze all incoming international and domestic material shipments and communicate root causes for delays.<br>
5. Analyze and adjust material requirements to firm orders with suppliers<br>
6. Trains planners on proper planning methods and tools taking advantage of best practices throughout Dana.</p><p>
Inbound Receipt Reconciliation<br>
1. Oversee the receipt variances and reconciliations allowing for timely payment of invoices<br>
2. Develop system to ensure what is being received physically matches invoice<br>
Implications of not backfilling position:<br>
1. Inventory discrepancies and COGI remain an issue as long as the position remains unfilled.<br>
2. Cycle count variances will not be investigated timely and proper adjustments not made leading to imbalances in DOH and valuation.<br>
3. No cohesive method and oversight of planning potentially leading to issues with suppliers and flow of products to the plant.<br>
4. This person would be responsible for preparing for and leading API efforts, leading to additional workload being placed on other resources<br>
5. Receipt reconciliation will not take place timely risking unpaid supplier invoices causing future delays.</p><p><br>
Skills / Competencies:<br>
1. Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in business.<br>
2. MRP Experience is required &ndash; experience with SAP, Ariba, eMaint, AS/400 (Epicor) is preferred.<br>
3. Demand Planning methodologies<br>
4. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel &amp; PowerPoint).<br>
5. Knowledge of procurement activities.<br>
6. Must be able to work effectively with others.<br>
7. Ability to learn quickly and adapt.<br>
8. Must have effective communication and analytical skills.<br>
9. A minimum of two years&rsquo; experience in production/inventory control in manufacturing environment is preferred.</p></div></div></div><p><br>

The IT Manager, SAP COE Operations will be responsible for leading SAP Production and Planning workstream for SAP Deployments, Organizational changes, Improvements and Support.</p></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
Job Duties and Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Develop and execute mid-term (1-2 years) and long-term (3-5 years) Strategy in cooperation with SAP Release Lead</li><li>
Support the SAP Production and Planning Module with the use, optimization, and configuration of SAP</li><li>
Develop and maintains good working relationships with customers and partners</li><li>
Improve efficiency implementing innovations and automations</li><li>
Participate in future implementations within our Dana Facilities</li><li>
Define and gather requirements for enhancements and implementations within the Production and Planning Module</li><li>
Ensure all system processes, customizations, and configurations meet quality standards
</li><li>Work with developers and technical staff to implement functional specifications and resolve any issues</li><li>
Ensure issues are identified, tracked, reported, and resolved in a timely manner</li><li>
Lead and develop a strong team</li></ul><p><b><br>
Education</b></p><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in a business or technical discipline required or may consider equivalent 8+ years related professional experience</li><li>
Master&rsquo;s Degree a plus</li><li>
7+ years related professional experience</li><li>
English (fluency in reading, writing and speaking)</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>

Developing functional specifications of new processes, data, and physical environment</li><li>
