If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about construction estimation, this is your chance to make a significant impact!Duties<ul><li>Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project scope documents using tools like Bluebeam and HeavyBid.</li><li>Collaborate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather accurate pricing data and negotiate favorable terms.</li><li>Develop comprehensive bid proposals that include labor, materials, equipment costs, and contingency allowances while ensuring competitiveness.</li><li>Conduct thorough quantity takeoffs from construction drawings to determine material quantities and labor requirements.</li><li>Monitor project budgets during bidding phases to ensure estimates align with project financial goals and cost control standards.</li><li>Assist in reviewing contracts and scope of work documents to identify potential risks or cost-saving opportunities.</li><li>Support project management teams by providing accurate estimates that facilitate effective project planning and scheduling.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction management processes.</li><li>Proficiency in estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar platforms; experience with Bluebeam is highly desirable.</li><li>Solid knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and cost control methodologies.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to secure optimal pricing.</li><li>Hands-on experience with construction site activities enhances accuracy in estimating and understanding project complexities.</li><li>Familiarity with project management principles ensures estimates are aligned with overall project timelines and objectives.</li><li>Strong communication skills to clearly present estimates and collaborate across diverse teams.
