<div>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Ensure that all required driver training is accomplished within the established time parameters.</li><li>
Determine additional training needs for assigned driver staff.</li><li>
Facilitate training activities for both new and existing driver staff.</li><li>
Conduct periodic reviews and audits of driver activities to ensure compliance with Company policies, rules, regulations, and expectations.</li><li>
Conduct quarterly driver quality audits for areas outside their purview.</li><li>
Provide oversight and follow-up on all daily work assignments for assigned driver staff and ensure that the necessary resources are available to accomplish excellent customer service in compliance with Company standards and agreements.</li><li><ul><li>
Ensure compliance with DOT rules and regulations.</li><li>
Manage call-ins for the designated geographical area and follow through to an acceptable resolution.</li><li>
Work closely with the appropriate procurement rep and or VP Care to address/resolve any service-related issue that may arise within the designated geographical area in a timely and acceptable manner.</li><li>
Performs routine route maintenance for accounts within the designated service area and works closely with area routers to improve service and efficiencies.</li></ul></li><li>
Responsible for scheduling activities for the drivers assigned to the designated geographical area, coordinating for backup personnel, and in rare cases will be required to run routes for driver vacancies.</li><li>
Coordinate equipment repairs with truck shop personnel.</li><li>
Responsible for safety and compliance for drivers assigned to the designated geographical area.</li><li><ul><li>
All units operating properly.</li><li>
Excellent equipment use and utilization.</li><li>
Availability of drivers' Hours of Service and related follow-up</li><li>
Route integrity.</li><li>
Ensure drivers operate in compliance with all Federal, State, Local, and Company regulations/policies and procedures.</li><li>
Monitor Omnitracs reports to ensure:</li><li>
Assists Transportation Manager in the conduct of accident investigations, reporting, follow-up and discipline, if necessary, in accordance with Company policy.</li></ul></li><li>
Maintain / monitor reports and data entry related areas to ensure performance of assigned driver staff is meeting established Company expectations.</li><li>
Keep management advised of all performance related issues and recommend solutions.</li><li>
Daily supervision of designated employees to include routine coaching and counseling.</li><li>
Responsible for continuous process improvement for the assigned areas.</li><li>
To be effective, communicate both internally with management, employees, supporting staff, and external customers.</li><li>
Expected to perform other duties as assigned.</li></ul>
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for supervising designated drivers.
QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Basic computer skills and knowledge of various applications is required (MS Office, Omnitracs, RoadNet, Sapphire, SAP, etc.)</li><li>
Must demonstrate knowledge of the designated service area.</li><li>
CDL preferred but not required.</li><li>
Must demonstrate knowledge of Federal/State DOT regulations, OSHA, HAZMAT, and other relevant governmental and industrial standards and policies.</li><li>
Must demonstrate the ability to prioritize projects and meet established deadlines.</li><li>
Must demonstrate good interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.</li><li>
Must demonstrate the ability to analyze situations appropriately and to pursue an effective course of action.</li><li>
Must have an excellent work and safety record.</li><li>
Must consistently meet or exceed established goals and objectives which includes the following specific goals.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:<ul><li>
Able to lift up to 50 pounds.</li></ul>

Transportation Lead

Job Summary
The Scientific Writer plays a pivotal role in strengthening the visibility, impact, and understanding of Science and Innovations outputs. This position will support the analysis of research results and translate complex scientific findings into clear, compelling messages and visualizations tailored for scientific and non-scientific target audiences.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:<ul><li>
Implement the science communication strategy designed by the Science Integration Manager and aligned with organizational goals and Science and Innovation priorities</li><li>
Scientific data processing and translation into technical articles, scientific manuscripts, journals and marketing materials</li><li>
Translate technical content into accessible formats (illustrations, articles, infographics, presentations, videos) for different target audiences</li><li>
Work closely with researchers and scientists to understand their findings and translate them into a format that can be understood by a broader audience</li><li>
Establish relationships and collaboration with commercial team (MarCom, sales)</li><li>
Act as a liaison between science integration and external partners to ensure consistent messaging</li><li>
Present scientific storylines in workshops, webinars, and events to disseminate research findings effectively</li><li>
Track and analyze the reach and effectiveness of communication activities using KPIs and feedback mechanisms</li><li>
Review and interpret R&amp;D data, publications, and reports to extract relevant insights</li><li>
Stay up to date on the latest scientific developments within their field of collagen and supplements.</li></ul>
Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>
Master's Degree in Nutritional Science, Medical Science, Pharma, Biomedical, Communication or related field</li><li>
3-5 years of professional Scientific writing experience</li><li>
Familiarity with scientific databases and research tools</li><li>
Familiarity with data analysis tools and languages such as Python or R</li><li>
Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms</li><li>
Strong ability to interpret complex scientific data and communicate it clearly</li><li>
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading skills</li><li>
Presentation skills for both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>
Expertise in data visualization tools and techniques (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and visualization best practices</li></ul>
Preferred Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
<ul><li>PhD in above mentioned fields</li><li>
Other language skills preferred (Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, French or Chinese)</li><li>
Project management and stakeholder coordination experience</li></ul>
