<div>Dart Container is looking for a Temporary Part-Time Associate Graphic Artist (Tuesday - Thursday 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) for our team to create and modify custom artwork to be printed on our products and/or packaging. This position will use various computer applications to duplicate customer art and to prepare production-ready artwork that meets our precise manufacturing specifications and customer expectations.

Day-to-Day Role:<ul><li>
Modify customer artwork to prepare digital art files that meet department standards and that fulfill precise manufacturing specifications.</li><li>
Prepare final proof artwork for customer orders to be printed on product and/or packaging. Product mockups may be needed for speculative customer orders</li><li>
Apply proper prepress techniques to prepare digital art for Dry Offset and Flexographic plate output and printing</li><li>
Create unique designs for customers that meet manufacturing standards</li><li>
Assist with special projects and/or expanded departmental responsibilities where appropriate. This may include cross training to assist in related areas and/or proofing artwork to ensure that it meets our print specifications</li></ul>
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:<ul><li>
Associates Degree in Graphic Design, Computer Graphics, Illustration, Commercial Art, or related field</li><li>
Demonstrated graphic design and/or illustration skills</li><li>
Two (2) years of experience with Adobe Illustrator software in a professional setting</li><li>
One (1) year of experience with Adobe Photoshop software in a professional setting</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>
Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division</li><li>
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes</li><li>
Demonstrated level of dependability, initiative, and responsibility</li><li>
Ability to maintain composure and adapt in a dynamic, fast-paced, customer-focused work environment characterized by rapid change, minimal lead times, and multiple competing priorities</li></ul>
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>
Prepress working knowledge to include the ability to apply spot and/or four color process printing and to apply trapping, separations and/or other digital prepress techniques</li><li>
Working knowledge of Esko Automation Engine and/or Webcenter</li></ul>

What you'll do...
In this role, you&rsquo;ll be responsible for maintaining and organizing our parts and tools inventory &mdash; a critical piece of keeping our equipment and teams operating efficiently.
Your day-to-day work will include:<ul><li>
Recording, controlling, and monitoring inventory using our ERP production system (SAP experience a plus)</li><li>
Receiving, storing, and expediting inventory items as needed</li><li>
Maintaining accurate documentation for all parts and tools</li><li>
Performing cycle counts and conducting root cause analysis for variances</li><li>
Sending out parts for rebuild or repair and following up on their return</li><li>
Unloading and delivering parts and tools using a forklift, lift truck, or pallet jack</li><li>
Cleaning, assembling, and disassembling parts and tools as needed</li><li>
Verifying shipments against Bills of Lading, invoices, or pick tickets</li><li>
Reporting discrepancies, damaged goods, or shortages</li><li>
Ensuring all parts, tools, and equipment are safe and in working condition</li></ul> 
What you'll need...<ul><li>
One (1) year of experience working at parts counter, storeroom, tool room/crib or parts room.</li><li>
Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines</li><li>
Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel</li><li>
Ability to obtain and maintain Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) license</li><li>
Strong attention to detail and accuracy</li><li>
Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division</li><li>
Familiar with and ability to convert decimals to fractions or vice versa</li><li>
Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures</li><li>
Demonstration of minimum proficiency with the English language in order to ensure effective new hire training and on-going communications about safety and quality issues</li></ul> 
Preferred Skills and Qualifications<ul><li>
Previous plant production software experience required, SAP experience</li><li>
Previous powered industrial truck experience</li><li>
Experience using power and hand tools</li></ul>
