SUMMARY</b></p><p>
Responsible for performing general maintenance service and repairs as directed by supervision.</p><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h1><ul><li>
Perform minor general maintenance service and repairs throughout the plant in the areas of plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, plastering, electrical or vehicle servicing as directed.</li><li>
Perform preventive maintenance as directed.</li><li>
Assemble and/or repair racks. Assemble office furniture and cubicles.</li><li>
Operate snowplows, forklifts, and lifts, as directed.</li><li>
Be available off hours when needed to tend to company emergencies (roof work, snow removal, sprinkle pipe break)</li><li>
Maintain production standards. Report any production, quality, or safety problems to the supervisor immediately.</li><li>
Comply with company rules and regulations.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.</li><li>
Implement a commitment to quality philosophy and recommend methods and procedures to reduce cost and/or improve the operating efficiency of the department.</li><li>
Keep the manager/supervisor informed of activities and situations that will impact the achievement of corporate or department goals and objectives.</li><li>
Perform other related duties as required to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and company.</li></ul><div></div><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE</b></h1><ul><li>
Trade school plus 1-2 years experience in general maintenance service and repairs or equivalent.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record</li></ul><div></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b><br>
COMPETENCIES</b></h2><div><ul><li>
Ability to use hand and power tools, such as:</li></ul></div><div>
Standard and metric wrenches and sockets</div><div>
Screwdrivers</div><div>
Electric meter (check voltage/amperage)</div><div>
Saws</div><div>
Drills</div><div>
Electric sander/grinder</div><div>
 Welders</div><ul><li>
Ability to operate snowplows, snow blowers, shovel snow</li><li>
Ability to operate forklifts and lifts</li><li>
Ability to operate company vehicles</li><li>
Comfortable with heights 25&rsquo;-30&rsquo; feet (change lamps/ballasts, run wires)</li></ul></div>

General Maintenance Worker (Snow plow experience)

SUMMARY</b></h2><ul><li>
Responsible for the setup, mechanical troubleshooting, minor repair and operation of envelope machines. Perform setups, mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs across pieces several pieces of equipment that other operators are running.</li></ul><h1 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</b></h1><div><ul><li>
Perform setup on machines in a timely manner. Clean machine prior to setup and inspect the machine as a preventive maintenance measure. Review and interpret recap instructions.</li><li>
Perform mechanical troubleshooting on machines and make minor adjustments/ corrections to ensure dimensions and quality of piece; monitor production.</li><li>
Perform cutting operations; make any necessary adjustments.</li><li>
Perform folder operations and operate folder.</li><li>
Hand-gather finished work and pack as necessary.</li><li>
Perform other department operations as required.</li><li>
Keep immediate work area neat and orderly.</li><li>
Comply with company rules and regulations.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of company-sensitive data.</li><li>

Thorough understanding of envelope manufacturing equipment setup and operation.</li><li>
Ability to troubleshoot and perform minor machine repairs.</li><li>
Ability to apply written instructions to machine operation and product quality.</li><li>
Good math skills</li><li>
Reliability through attendance, punctuality and attention to work station</li><li>
Demonstrates positive safety attitude</li></ul></div>
