ALWAYS.POSITION DESCRIPTIONPosition Title: Inventory and Shipping AssociateJob Summary: The Inventory and Shipping Associate is responsible for keeping track of min/max inventory levels of installation and project related materials. This position will also be responsible for tool tracking and shipping for projects in support of DataOne&rsquo;s mission -- specifically, support better management of inventory levels, incoming materials from projects and supply level planning.Functional Responsibilities: <ul><li>Manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels.</li><li>Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.</li><li>Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.</li><li>Communicates with employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.</li><li>Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.</li><li>Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed</li></ul>Daily Responsibilities:<ul><li>Operate mechanical lift, winch, or vehicles</li><li>Load and unload materials</li><li>Take inventory of materials shipped or received</li><li>Store, count, weigh, and open materials received</li><li>Load and unload trucks, railway cars, and other vehicles for transporting goods</li><li>Fill warehouse orders</li><li>Label boxes to identify materials</li><li>Dispose of leftover packing materials such as wooden crates, pallets, and cardboard</li></ul>Experience Required: <ul><li>Ability to use computer technology to make labels, track inventory, and keep a record of storage</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful</li><li>Must be able to function independently in a responsive, timely and organized manner</li><li>Attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Fork lift experience preferred</li></ul>DataOne IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.
