We are seeking a detail-oriented Application UI/UX Designer for our xFact team to design end-to-end user experiences and interfaces for a variety of our web-based applications. The ideal candidate should have experience leading all aspects of design and have a thorough and proven grasp of usability and user interface design. Applicants must be detail oriented, a self-starter, and have a drive for producing quality user interfaces and experiences. This role requires a versatile team member who can work collaboratively across a variety of project and product areas.

What you&rsquo;ll do:
<ul><li>Work cross-functionally with team and clients to facilitate design discussions and provide feedback for planning and products.</li>
<li>Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and software engineers to define and implement innovative solutions for our product&rsquo;s user interfaces and experiences.</li>
<li>Create low to high fidelity wireframes, storyboards, mockups, user flows, process flows, and sitemaps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.</li>
<li>Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback to iterate on designs.</li>
<li>Prototype designs and work closely with developers and analysts for implementation, ensuring that all elements adhere to the defined UI guidelines, standards, and requirements.</li>
<li>Ability to translate business and functional requirements to an effective and usable design.</li>
<li>Solicit feedback from your peers, including other product designers, analysts, and team members.
</li><li>Understand and incorporate complex processes into intuitive user interfaces.</li>
<li>Present designs and deliverables to team and stakeholders while articulating design rationale and trade-offs.</li>
<li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of UI/UX design trends, as well as industry-specific trends, to ensure that xFact remains at the forefront of technology.</li>
<li>Create detailed documentation for project-related activities and tasks, research and analysis outcomes, and test results.</li>
<li>Work collaboratively between project teams to inform and improve xFact&rsquo;s design processes.</li>
<li>Conduct testing of implemented software and products.</li>
<li>Create detailed layout and style guides for our products.</li>
<li>Maintain and contribute to xFact&rsquo;s design system and processes.</li>
<li>Create detailed design documentation and specifications to convey design and business rules to the development team.</li>
<li>Conform with accessibility standards and maximize the usability for users with disabilities.</li>
</ul>
What we require:
<ul><li>Education:
<ul><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
</li></ul></li><li>Experience:
<ul><li>Minimum 2 years of UI/UX design experience designing web-based applications
</li></ul></li><li>Skills:
<ul><li>Proficiency in Application UI/UX design
</li><li>Exceptional visual design skills and attention to detail</li>
<li>Experience working with and maintaining design materials and files</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with project team and stakeholders</li>
<li>Experience testing software from a usability and functional perspective</li>
<li>General understanding of development methodologies and consulting best practices</li>
<li>General understanding of common web and application architectures</li>
</ul></li></ul>Additional proficiencies we seek:
<ul><li>Experience in government public sector domain
</li><li>Technical background in public sector industry</li>
<li>Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office products (Teams, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)</li>
