This is not a seasonal or part-time role &mdash; we need someone fully committed to reviewing, refining, and signing off on tax returns and bookkeeping reports with a high standard of quality.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of tax return review after preparation is complete.Examine individual and business tax returns for accuracy, compliance, and optimization opportunities.Review bookkeeping reports and financial statements for errors, inconsistencies, and proper classification.Identify missing deductions, misclassified transactions, or red flags before filings are submitted.Communicate with clients and internal staff to gather supporting documents, clarify discrepancies, and set expectations.Manage workflow and deadlines in TaxDome and other firm software.Ensure all returns and reports meet IRS and applicable state compliance standards.Serve as a quality control checkpoint and trusted reviewer throughout the preparation process.QualificationsActive CPA license required.Proven experience reviewing individual and business tax returns (1040, 1120, 1120-S, 1065, etc.).Familiarity with bookkeeping principles and financial statement review.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Highly organized, detail-oriented, and deadline-driven.Comfortable with tax and practice management software (TaxDome, QuickBooks, or similar).Ability to manage a high volume of returns in a fast-paced environment.Compensation &amp; BenefitsCompetitive salary between $75,000 &ndash; $95,000 commensurate with experience.Flexible remote work environment.Opportunity for growth as the firm expands.How to ApplyApply directly through Indeed with your resume.
