Because we believe your work and effort should be rewarded!**What We Offer:<ul><li>Flexible scheduling options.</li><li>Work-Life Balance!</li><li>CEU and professional development support.</li><li>Supportive, ENERGETIC, team culture.</li><li>Opportunities for clinic and leadership development.</li><li>AND you get your birthday off (who doesn't love that?!).</li></ul>MAJOR DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Clinical Audiology Responsibilities:<ul><li>Perform comprehensive audiological assessments, including behavioral and objective measures (OAE, ABR, tympanometry, and VRA) tailored to infants, toddlers, and young children.</li><li>Develop individualized treatment plans based on diagnostic results, including amplification fittings, adjustments, and troubleshooting for hearing aids, FM/DM systems, and other assistive listening devices.</li><li>Diagnose and treat candidates for cochlear implants including testing, mapping, and additional programming as needed (working with Cochlear America and Advanced Bionics).</li><li>Collaborate with speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, and other allied health professionals in the clinic to coordinate care for mutual patients.</li><li>Educate families on hearing loss management, device care, and therapy progress, promoting a family-centered approach to care.</li><li>Work with trained Speech Language Pathologists to diagnose and treat Auditory Processing Disorder (training on-site)</li></ul>Educational Audiology Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct yearly or as needed classroom-based equipment checks for Roger system within the Davies Development center to monitor and ensure optimal auditory access for students.</li><li>Work closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans as needed.</li><li>Educate and train teachers and staff on the use of amplification technology and classroom accommodations, ensuring all children receive appropriate auditory support for optimal language development.</li><li>Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, including IEP meetings, to advocate for the student&rsquo;s audiological needs.</li><li>Support the development of language-rich environments and strategies for effective communication, particularly for deaf and hard-of-hearing students.</li></ul>Additional Responsibilities:<ul><li>Maintain thorough and timely documentation of clinical and educational services provided, adhering to both HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.</li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in pediatric and educational audiology.</li><li>Participate in marketing with our Marketing team to create fun and accurate social media posts, physician lunch and learns, and community events.</li><li>Serve as an advocate for children with hearing loss and as a resource for parents, guiding them through the process of intervention and educational planning.</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES: <ul><li>Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment.</li><li>Experience with testing children with sensory processing disorder, regulation, autism spectrum disorder..</li><li>Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Canva.</li><li>Brightwheel (training provided)</li><li>Suno EMR (training provided).</li><li>Professional and timely email responses.</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication.</li><li>Outstanding interpersonal skills and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.</li><li>Ability to work well under pressure and manage sensitive or controversial subjects with tact, kindness, and professionalism.</li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) or Master&rsquo;s Degree in Audiology from an accredited program.</li><li>Current audiology license in Texas.</li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in pediatric audiology.</li></ul>PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>Physical demands of the job, including bending, sitting, lifting, and walking.</li></ul>OTHER DUTIES:<ul><li>Marketing is everyones job!
