 The Davis County Jail operates 24 hours per day 7 days per week,
 
 
 
 
 this position requires working weekends, holidays and rotating shifts.

 Jail Operations Specialist I, II
 
 in
 
 Farmington, Utah.
 
 This position will be responsible for a variety of specialized security duties to maintain the safety and security of the Correctional Officers. If you are dedicated to maintaining the safety and security of a correctional facility, have a keen eye for detail, and possess he necessary qualifications, we invite you to be part of our team!

 Our Ideal Candidate Requirements

 <li>
 High School Degree or equivalent
 </li>
 <li>
 Must be 18 years of age
 </li>
 <li>
 Must pass the Davis County Sheriff's background investigation
 </li>
 <li>
 Work rotating shifts, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
 </li>
 <li>
 Sit for extended periods of time
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preference for bilingual skill - Spanish

 Day to Day Duties
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Monitors inmates in housing unit control pods
 </li>
 <li>
 Responding to situations as they arise
 </li>
 <li>
 Performs clerical duties to facilitate the booking of inmates
 </li>
 <li>
 Controls interior and exterior doors of the correctional facility
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors visual and audio systems in Central Control; reports disruptions in the booking area
 </li>
 <li>
 Monitors radio transmission for emergency situations
 </li>
 <li>
 Responsible for the safety and security of Corrections staff and inmates
