Due to continued growth, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fire Sprinkler Designer to join our team in Beach Lake, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fire protection sprinkler systems for various projects, ensuring compliance with local and national fire codes and regulations. The Fire Sprinkler Designer will collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to create efficient and reliable fire sprinkler systems that meet client and regulatory requirements.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Design and layout fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings using AutoCAD or similar design software.</li>
<li>Conduct site inspections and assessments to determine the specific fire protection needs of a building or facility.</li>
<li>Collaborate with architects, engineers, and construction staff to integrate fire protection systems into the overall building design.</li>
<li>Perform hydraulic calculations to ensure the fire sprinkler system functions effectively.</li>
<li>Prepare detailed design drawings, specifications, and documentation for submission to clients and regulatory authorities.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with local, state, and national fire safety codes and standards, such as NFPA (National Fire Protection Association) standards.</li>
<li>Provide technical support and expertise during the installation and commissioning phases.</li>
<li>Maintain project timelines and budgets, ensuring high-quality and efficient project delivery.</li>
<li>Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations regarding fire protection and sprinkler systems.</li>
</ul><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>Bachelor's degree in engineering, fire protection technology, or a related field preferred.</li>
<li>Experience in fire protection design or a related industry is a plus.</li>
<li>Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software is required.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of fire codes, standards, and regulations, including NFPA standards.</li>
<li>Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients, architects, and engineers.</li>
</ul><div><b>Experience:</b></div>
<ul><li>Minimum of 2-3 years&rsquo; experience in fire sprinkler design or related field is preferred.</li>
</ul><div><b>Licenses/Certifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>NICET certification in Fire Protection Engineering Technology (or working towards certification) is an advantage.</li>
