Shift Schedule:</b></p>
<ul>
<li><b>Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday - Local/home every night.
</b></li><li><b>Start Time: 5:00 am
</b></li><li><b>End Times: 5:00 pm (Until the route has been completed)</b></li>
<li><b>Minimum of 1 overnight (layover) route per week, Thursday into Friday
</b></li><li><b>Routes will not exceed DOT hours.
</b></li><li><b>Weekend work may be required based on business needs.</b></li></ul><br>

Job Purpose and Overview</b></div>
<div>
As a Driver for Dawn Foods, you will support our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the distribution center by driving a tractor-trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and Dawn team standards.</div><br>

</div><div><b>What Does It Take to be a CDL Class A Driver at Dawn Foods?</b></div>
<div>
Below are the minimum qualifications to be a fit for this job.</div><br>
<ul>
<li>Class &ldquo;A&rdquo; CDL License in good standing</li>
</ul><ul><li>Minimum of 6 months Class A Commercial driving experience</li>
<li>Ability to work in the United States</li>
<li>Must be 21 years of age or older</li>
<li>Must be able to lift 50+ pounds consistently throughout work shift</li>
<li>Ability to operate MHE equipment</li>
<li>Experience delivering into food service accounts is preferred</li>
<li>Lift-gate, reefer, electric pallet jack and forklift experience helpful</li>
<li>Computer skills or experience with electronic logs helpful</li></ul><br>

What will you do as a CDL Class A Driver at Dawn Foods?</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Obey all federal, state, and local rules and regulations of the road including all DOT operating, recording and safe food handling procedures</li>
<li>Conduct daily face to face interaction with customers, representing Dawn Foods in a friendly, competent, and professional manner</li>
<li>In a DSD (direct store delivery) setting, break down product and complete shelf stacking at each stop</li>
<li>Driving and maintaining multi-temp trailers</li>
<li>Offloading with electric pallet jacks/two wheelers</li>
<li>Performing pre and post trip vehicle inspections as well as collecting invoice receipts that are generated from the deliveries</li></ul><br>

</li><li>Must be able to tolerate potential allergens: peanut products, egg, dairy, gluten, wheat, and soy.</li>
