Overview:We are currently hiring loving, nurturing teachers for our school. We have children ages 6 weeks old through 5 years old. We are looking for teachers who enjoy being around children and encourage children to learn and grow. Our teachers are committed to our children and work as a team to provide the best possible care for our families. Our school encompasses a learning through play philosophy.Benefits:&middot; Health Insurance&middot; Childcare benefit&middot; Paid Time Off&middot; 401K&middot; Professional development assistance&middot; Paid Holidays&middot; Paid Winter Break (week between Christmas and New Years)&middot; Company Paid Workers CompensationResponsibilities:&middot; Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment&middot; Create and implement fun and engaging plans with the guidance of the Program Coordinator&middot; Support each child&rsquo;s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance&middot; Establish an effective classroom, responsive to each child&rsquo;s needs&middot; Adhere to all NYS regulations and School policies and proceduresGeneral Qualifications and Skills:&middot; The ability to understand and support the education program using a &ldquo;learning through play&rdquo; philosophy&middot; The ability to interact closely with children at their level&middot; The ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times&middot; The ability to change children&rsquo;s diapers and/or assist in toileting (where necessary)&middot; Associate degree or higher in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field preferred&middot; Strong verbal and written communication skills&middot; Ability to work as part of a team and take directions&middot; Ability to multi-task&middot; Candidate must be flexible and able to respond to change as needed&middot; Candidate must be passionate about working with children and bring a positive attitude each and every day!Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
