We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Vehicle Acquisition Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will embody our commitment to exceptional customer service and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Position Overview
The Vehicle Acquisition Specialist is responsible for identifying, sourcing, and purchasing vehicles from private sellers and online marketplaces. This role plays a key part in helping our dealerships maintain a strong inventory by proactively engaging with individuals looking to sell their vehicles.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Purchase vehicles through Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer (ICO).</li><li>
Source vehicles for dealership inventory through private party sales.</li><li>
Communicate with individuals selling their vehicles on third-party websites such as Autotrader, Facebook Marketplace, and Craigslist.</li><li>
Build rapport with vehicle owners and guide them through the selling process.</li><li>
Schedule appointments for vehicle owners to visit the showroom and sell their vehicles.</li><li>
Provide a professional and positive customer experience throughout every interaction.</li></ul>
Education &amp; Skill Requirements<ul><li>
High school diploma or equivalent required.</li><li>
Previous customer service experience preferred.</li><li>
Sales experience is a plus.</li><li>
Strong computer proficiency.</li><li>
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.</li></ul>
