Join our team as a Proposal and Marketing Specialist and help showcase our expertise in heavy civil construction! You&rsquo;ll play a key role in developing proposals and marketing materials that highlight our projects and capabilities.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Proposal &amp; Marketing Specialist supports the company&rsquo;s pursuit of new work by developing compelling proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials. This role focuses on writing, editing, and coordinating content that reflects the company&rsquo;s brand and capabilities, while also supporting marketing initiatives and maintaining proposal resources.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Collaborate with management to develop and execute company marketing strategies and goals</li>
<li>Analyze RFPs / RFQs and coordinate the preparation of proposals and Statements of Qualifications (SOQs)
</li><li>Write, edit, and format content for proposals and presentations that reflect our capabilities and brand voice</li>
<li>Coordinate with internal teams to develop cohesive proposal strategies and identify differentiators</li>
<li>Gather, maintain, organize, and update all content for SOQ&rsquo;s including project information, pictures, completed proposals, presentations, resumes, pictures, and project information</li>
<li>Manage deadlines and workflow to ensure timely and high-quality proposal submissions</li>
<li>Manage and update the Unanet CRM system, including regular updates, data accuracy, and user support to ensure optimal functionality and alignment with company goals</li>
<li>Required to utilize Adobe Creative Suite applications &mdash; including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, InCopy, and Acrobat &mdash; to design, edit, and produce professional-quality marketing and communication materials</li>
<li>Prepare and create internal collateral such as business cards, internal promotional materials, stickers, calendars, and apparel</li>
<li>Research and implement advertising and marketing opportunities aligned with company goals</li>
<li>Attend industry events for networking and recruiting. i.e., Municipal CIP Seminars, Industry Market Outlook Seminars, career fairs, and recruiting events</li>
<li>Manage and curate content for social media platforms
</li><li>Oversee and contribute to website content and strategy</li>
<li>Provide general marketing support as needed</li>
</ul>
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>1-3 years of proposal and marketing experience, preferably in the construction industry
</li><li>Familiarity with CMAR, JOC, Design/Build, and other qualification-based proposal processes</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in marketing, communications, business, or equivalent technical training and/or experience
</li></ul>REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Strong technical writing and editing skills</li>
<li>Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities</li>
<li>Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments</li>
<li>Creative mindset with an understanding of branding and storytelling</li>
</ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
<ul><li>Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
</li><li>Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.</li>
</ul>

What You&rsquo;ll Bring to the Team</h3>

We&rsquo;re looking for a problem-solver with hands-on experience in heavy equipment repair. If you: 
&#10004;&#65039; Have 5+ years of experience with diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical, and air systems 
&#10004;&#65039; Can diagnose and repair heavy equipment (CAT, John Deere preferred) 
&#10004;&#65039; Are comfortable working in the field and handling on-site repairs 
&#10004;&#65039; Can keep detailed maintenance records and follow schedules 
&#10004;&#65039; Work independently but also communicate well with teams 
&#10004;&#65039; Hold (or are willing to obtain) a CDL Class B with Tank endorsement &ndash; that&rsquo;s a plus!
