Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate Dentist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for patient care and a commitment to providing high-quality dental services. This role involves performing a wide range of dental procedures, including general dentistry, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, and more. The Associate Dentist will work collaboratively with our staff to ensure a positive experience for all patients while adhering to the highest standards of infection control and patient safety.Responsibilities<ul><li>Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations to determine treatment needs.</li><li>Perform various dental procedures such as dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics, and endodontics.</li><li>Utilize four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.</li><li>Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.</li><li>Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to provide exceptional patient care.</li><li>Educate patients on oral health practices and treatment options available.</li><li>Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols in the clinic.</li><li>Stay updated on the latest advancements in dental technology and practices.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited institution.</li><li>Valid state dental license to practice dentistry.</li><li>Experience with dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix is preferred.</li><li>Knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, and anatomy is essential.</li><li>Prior experience in a dental office or clinic setting is highly desirable.</li><li>Strong skills in patient care, assessment, and communication.</li><li>Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices is a plus.</li><li>Ability to perform medical imaging as required for patient diagnostics.
