About the Position
 The Student Support Advisor plays a vital role in supporting students throughout their educational journey, embodying our TEACH values and fostering a culture of CARE that aligns with our mission, vision, and purpose. Their role involves providing proactive, prompt, and accurate advising on financial, academic, and service-related matters, to ensure students receive the necessary support to reach graduation. This includes advocating for students at every stage of their academic journey by establishing personalized relationships, monitoring their financial and academic progress, and promoting their success through holistic advising. In addition, the Student Support Advisor serves as an advocate for students and connect them with resources and support services, addressing their concerns, and working collaboratively with faculty and staff to ensure they have the tools and support they need to succeed.
 In a dynamic and rapidly changing environment, Student Support Advisors operate within a state-of-the-art call center architecture, where their day is meticulously planned out. Their objective is to offer one-call resolution while inspiring students to take ownership of their educational goals. Through various communication channels, such as incoming and outgoing calls, chats and personalized emails and SMS, they cater to the individual student needs and preferences.

Your responsibilities/What you’ll do
 <ul>
<li>Provide support for the new student enrollment process by partnering with Admissions to answer student queries, offer comprehensive information on the program and costs, and outline funding options to enable students to make informed decisions</li>
<li>Develop and validate an estimated financial plan and establish clear timelines for applicants to ensure financial preparedness for the commencement of their educational journey</li>
<li>Maintain a thorough understanding of all academic and Title IV financial aid programs, policies, and procedures, including institutional policies, and federal and state regulations</li>
<li>Monitor student accounts, provide guidance on financial eligibility and regularly evaluate academic and financial awards to promote positive student outcomes</li>
<li>Proactively identify possible academic and financial obstacles by analyzing student data, and work collaboratively with students to overcome them</li>
<li>Effectively leverage data and systems to track accurate enrollment, persistence and graduation information</li>
<li>Possess knowledge of resources that can aid in providing informed recommendations based on student needs, such as self-service tools, attendance in new student orientation, active participation in the online student community, and more</li>
<li>Ensure precise documentation and preservation of information by capturing and recording all interactions in the designated institutional</li>
<li>Employ a high level of discretion and independent judgement to proficiently evaluate intricate academic and financial situations throughout the student life cycle</li>

Shift Expectations
 <ul>
<li>Working flexible hours including evening and rotating Saturdays (based on operating hours of your campus location)</li>
<li>The first 6 weeks of training require daily attendance in order to be successful in the role while working 9AM-6PM</li>
<li>At the conclusion of training colleagues will work a permanent schedule as follows:</li>
<li>2 shifts of 10AM-7PM/11AM-8PM and 3 shifts of 8AM-5PM/9AM-6PM</li>
<li>1 rotating Saturday every four weeks, working either 9AM-1PM or 8AM-4PM</li>
</ul>
Minimum Qualifications
 <ul>
<li>Some college coursework required</li>
<li>A minimum of 1-year of exceptional customer service or prior advising experience in an education setting</li>
<li>Eligible to access and maintain the NSLDS system and must not be in default of Title IV Federal aid</li>
<li>Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, teams), internet applications, and database software systems</li>
<li>A work environment free of distractions and interruptions, with no conflicting responsibilities during your scheduled shift</li>
<li>Home office must be equipped with DSL or Cable Internet that is hardwired into a modem/router via Ethernet and provides the minimum required internet speeds (wireless, satellite or dial-up internet services are not permissible)</li>
</ul>

Responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>Develops and provides students with an approved DeVry University syllabus that follows a template established by the local campus, and which includes the terminal course objectives.</li>
<li>Organizes, prepares, and regularly revises and updates all course materials.</li>
<li>Uses appropriate technological options for online technologies and course-related software, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions for preparing the course and making it accessible to students.</li>
<li>Models effective oral and written communications that engage the students, provide clarity, and improve student learning.</li>
<li>Sets clear expectations for the course by publishing course terminal objectives, assignment/examinations dates, and weight the distribution of various evaluation categories.</li>
<li>Ensures that the content and level of material included on exams correspond to the course terminal objectives.</li>
<li>Demonstrates consistency and fairness in the preparation and grading of exams and provides timely feedback to students.</li>
<li>Embraces and integrates the responsible use of AI technologies in the classroom to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.</li>
<li>Demonstrates the ability to recognize, evaluate, and address appropriate and inappropriate student use of AI tools in academic work.</li>
<li>Completes other duties as assigned.</li>

Qualifications:

<li>Industry-recognized certifications or professional credentials relevant to artificial intelligence, machine learning, data science, or software development.</li>

<li>Experience with programmatic or regional accreditation processes, including outcomes assessment and curriculum alignment.</li>

Pay: 
Visiting Professor pay is based on level, credit hours taught per 8-week session, and location.

<li>Pay may vary in most states from $1500-$2700 per 8-week session.</li>
<li>Pay in the states of AZ, CA, IN and PA is paid at an hourly rate of either $22.00/hour or $23.50/hour.</li>

 The Manager, Marketing Content & Copy plays a critical role in bringing the DeVry brand to life across key marketing channels and initiatives. This leader serves as a steward of the brand voice, partnering closely with the Brand team to develop and execute content strategies that strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and affinity while supporting organizational goals.

Responsibilities

<li>Develop engaging, audience-focused copy for a variety of marketing materials, including brand campaigns, webpages, paid media, paid search, email campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.</li>
<li>Serve as a champion and steward of the DeVry brand voice, tone, messaging, and personality, ensuring consistency and quality across all content and marketing channels.</li>
<li>Partner closely with the Brand team to develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns, strategic initiatives, and content that strengthens brand awareness, engagement, and affinity.</li>
<li>Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, including Product, Academics, Marketing, Compliance, and other subject matter experts to translate complex information into clear, compelling, and accurate marketing content.</li>

<li>Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, consistency, grammatical correctness, and alignment with brand standards.</li>
<li>Develop brand-focused content that supports strategic marketing objectives, audience engagement, website traffic, inquiries, and enrollment goals.</li>
<li>Ensure all content adheres to university compliance requirements, regulatory standards, and approved messaging guidelines while maintaining accuracy and brand integrity.</li>
<li>Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, demonstrating strong ownership, sound judgment, adaptability, and the ability to effectively prioritize competing demands while maintaining high-quality standards.</li>

Qualifications

<li>Work experience: 5-8+ years of experience in content marketing, copywriting, brand content, communications, or related fields with 2+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing the work of writers, freelancers, agencies, or content contributors.</li>
<li>Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, English, journalism, or a related field.</li>
<li>Content development: Proven experience developing strategic marketing content and copy across multiple channels, including digital, web, email, social media, advertising, and brand marketing initiatives with exceptional writing, editing, proofreading, and storytelling skills.</li>
<li>Leadership: Demonstrated experience leading projects, managing content workflows, and providing direction, coaching, or mentorship to writers and content contributors.</li>
<li>SEO: Well-versed in SEO principles, SEO copywriting techniques, and digital marketing best practices.</li>
<li>Software: Experience using project management and workflow tools such as Asana, Jira, Monday.com, Workfront, or similar platforms. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</li>
