Job Description:A GAP Claims Adjuster supports customers through the claims process for Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP) coverage. GAP helps cover the difference between a vehicle&rsquo;s value and the remaining loan or lease balance in the event of a total loss.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Review and process GAP claims submitted by customers and dealerships</li><li>Gather and review documentation such as loan details, insurance settlements, and vehicle information</li><li>Communicate with customers, lenders, and insurance companies to help move claims forward</li><li>Assist in calculating claim settlements based on provided information</li><li>Ensure claims are handled in line with company guidelines</li><li>Maintain accurate claim records and notes</li><li>Provide updates and support to customers throughout the process</li></ul>Skills and Qualifications:<ul><li>Strong attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Good communication and customer service abilities</li><li>Basic analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>Ability to learn and work with claims systems and tools</li><li>Previous experience in claims, insurance, or auto finance is helpful but not required</li></ul>Job Type: Full-timePay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Mahwah, NJ 07430 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Mahwah, NJ 07430: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
