As the driver, you will need to hold a valid Texas driver&rsquo;s license, have a clean driving record, enjoy working with people and have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.Responsibilities<ul><li>Qualifications:</li><li>Must possess, as a minimum, a High School Diploma or equivalent</li></ul>Under direction from the Director of Nursing and the Administrator, the Transportation Driver performs the following responsibilities:<ul><li>Sets physician appointments for patients and communicates the transportation schedule to appropriate parties in an organized fashion</li><li>Coordinates with the nursing team to ensure residents are presentable and ready prior to all appointments</li><li>Drives to/from the appropriate locations to meet resident and facility demands, including occasional trips to the DFW and surrounding areas</li><li>Appropriately communicates information concerning a resident&rsquo;s condition, including delivering patient records to appropriate parties</li><li>Demonstrates positivity and friendliness to all, always</li><li>Maintains proper certification / training to perform Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and be able to perform CPR when and if needed</li><li>Maintains an attitude of safety, alertness and customer service at all times</li><li>Understands or is capable of being trained in the operation of a van or bus wheelchair lift and show competency</li><li>Performs a &ldquo;Daily Vehicle Safety Inspection Log&rdquo; to verify the safety status of the vehicle</li><li>Reports any inadequate system that may need attention or any item that requires repair through a reputable vehicle service repair company to the Administrator and Maintenance Director</li><li>Ensures the vehicle(s) are fueled, maintained, cleaned, organized and remain in proper working order</li><li>Demonstrates comfortability using basic technology, computers, smart phones, apps, etc.</li><li>Takes call for occasional transportation needs after routine hours, including weekends or holidays</li><li>Must be willing to be a team player, including accepting other assignments from the DON or Administrator, as required</li><li>Prefer that you are a Certified Nursing Assistant in Texas</li><li>Must be at least 21 years of age with an acceptable driving record</li><li>Possess a current, valid driver's license in Texas</li><li>Must have no Type A violations, such as driving while intoxicated or under the influence of drugs, hit and run and reckless driving</li><li>Good interpersonal skills in working with all kinds of people on a daily basis</li></ul>Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Dental insurance</li><li>Disability insurance</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Life insurance</li><li>Paid orientation</li><li>Paid sick time</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Paid training</li><li>Tuition reimbursement</li><li>Vision insurance</li></ul>Work Location: In person
