This is a unique opportunity to build and shape a new, centralized governance function from the ground up. We are looking for a highly organized and process-driven professional to become the central hub for our global compliance program's core operations.
We are seeking a Senior Compliance Associate, Governance and Training to support establishing and managing our centralized compliance governance processes. This is a hybrid role with global exposure, perfect for someone who excels at process management, stakeholder coordination, and bringing structure to a fast-paced environment.
You will report to the Global Training Manager and work across the entire compliance department to manage the policy lifecycle, coordinate the global training program, and support key governance meetings and activities. Your mission is to bring consistency, transparency, and operational excellence to our compliance framework.
Key Responsibilities
1. Compliance Training Program Support<ul><li>
Partner with the Global Training Manager to manage the logistics and execution of the global compliance training program.</li><li>
Administer the Learning Management System (LMS), including assigning courses, tracking completion rates, and generating management reports.</li><li>
Maintain the global training calendar, coordinate session scheduling, send invites, and maintain accurate attendance records.</li><li>
Gather and collate feedback on training sessions to support program enhancements.</li><li>
Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Data Privacy teams to ensure training content aligns with company policies, employment regulations, and data protection standards.</li></ul>
2. Policy &amp; Procedure Lifecycle Management<ul><li>
Own and maintain the central inventory for all global and regional compliance policies, procedures, and standards.</li><li>
Manage the end-to-end policy lifecycle: track review dates, coordinate with policy owners, manage the review and approval workflow, and ensure timely publication.</li><li>
Act as the primary owner and manager for the Knowledge Base, ensuring all information and documentation is current, version-controlled, and easily accessible.</li><li>
Support cross-functional policy harmonization, identifying overlaps, gaps, or inconsistencies between related documents.</li><li>
Partner with Corporate Communications to support clear and consistent policy messaging across the organization.</li></ul>
3. Centralized Governance &amp; Administration<ul><li>
Provide governance and administrative support for key global and regional compliance meetings.</li><li>
Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, professionally capture minutes, and meticulously track all action items through to completion.</li><li>
Support the regulatory change management process by maintaining a central tracker of regulatory updates.</li><li>
Assist in responding to external due diligence requests from banking partners and vendors by gathering and providing standardized compliance documentation.</li><li>
Support the preparation of compliance reports and dashboards for management and Board-level presentations, ensuring accuracy and completeness.</li></ul>
Qualifications
Must-Have:<ul><li>
3-5+ years of experience in a compliance, risk, governance, legal operations, or program management role.</li><li>
Exceptional organizational skills and disciplined attention to detail.</li><li>
Proven ability to manage multiple processes, projects, and stakeholders simultaneously in a fast-paced, global environment.</li><li>
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to liaise effectively across different functions and regions.</li><li>
A proactive, &quot;take-ownership&quot; mindset and the ability to operate independently with minimum supervision.</li><li>
Proficiency in G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and/or Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).</li></ul>
Preferred:<ul><li>
Experience in a global fintech, payments, or technology company.</li><li>
Experience with content or knowledge management systems (e.g., Confluence, SharePoint).</li><li>
Experience in administering or using a Learning Management System (LMS).</li><li>
Experience with policy lifecycle management tools or software.</li><li>

Summary
The EOR engine is the heart of Deel's mission: enabling compliant, global employment for hundreds of thousands of people. Overseeing a global engineering organization of 8 high-performing teams (55+ engineers), you will be the architectural and operational anchor responsible for stability, scale, and delivery across onboarding, contracts, and special projects.
We are looking for a leader who is a Systems Architect with Organizational Mastery&mdash;someone who can manage 55+ people while setting the technical bar and actively contributing to the deepest architectural challenges. You will drive high performance through direct feedback, technical mentorship, and the adoption of cutting-edge AI-assisted development workflows.
Responsibilities<ul><li>
Scale and Lead: Manage 55+ Engineers (split into 8 teams), providing mentorship to Engineering Team Leads and Software Engineers while ensuring the collective output meets Deel&rsquo;s high standards.</li><li>
Technical Command &amp; Standards:Act as the hands-on technical authority for the EOR platform. This means contributing to mission-critical system design, executing deep-dive architectural reviews, and personally intervening in P0 production incidents to lead resolution and set future standards. Technical Profile &amp; Requirements<ul><li>
Expert Distributed Systems &amp; Data Integrity: Expert-level ability designing and scaling highly-available, distributed systems. You must possess elite backend expertise(Node.js/PostgreSQL) and have a proven track record navigating and ensuring integrity for complex, multi-jurisdictional data models and integrations handling sensitive legal and financial workflows at a global scale.</li><li>
Technical Firefighting &amp; Infrastructure:You are expected to be hands-on in the terminal. You must be proficient in modern debugging techniques, cloud-native infrastructure (AWS), and rapidly diagnosing/resolving deep system issues in high-pressure production environments.</li><li>
AI &amp; Cloud Native: You are an early adopter of AI-augmented engineering and understand how to leverage cloud code environments to streamline the development-to-deployment pipeline.</li><li>

Team Lead
About the Team 
At the core of Deel&rsquo;s FinTech platform, responsible for building and operating client and contractor wallets across our regulated entities globally. This is a mission-critical domain where accuracy, compliance, and reliability are non-negotiable.
Scope &amp; Responsibilities<ul><li>
Lead the fintech engineering team to design, build, and scale wallet infrastructure for global deel's users.</li><li>
Work with different teams to integrate wallets with regional banks through PSPs (via APIs), orchestrating pay-ins and ensuring seamless treasury operations.</li><li>
Depending on the project, you may collaborate with the Core Accounting team to connect wallets with the General Ledger (GL), ensuring balances are accurate and financial records meet audit standards.</li><li>
Work closely with Compliance, Treasury, and PSP Integration teams to ensure adherence to local regulations (MTL, PI, safeguarding requirements).</li><li>
Provide technical leadership in a global, fast-paced environment where uptime and precision are critical.</li><li>
Responsible for leading a high-performing engineering team, including running daily stand-ups, planning sessions, and backlog grooming.</li></ul>
What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>
Location: Based in EMEA, with high availability for global collaboration.</li><li>
Background: Proven experience as a Team Lead or Manager in payments, banking, accounting, or treasury.</li><li>
FinTech Expertise: Hands-on wallets, flows of funds, compliance, and regulated money movement. Prior experience at companies like Wise, PayPal, or similar is a strong plus.</li><li>
Technical Skills:<ul><li>
JavaScript/Node.js</li><li>
PostgreSQL with Sequelize ORM</li><li>
Strong understanding of distributed systems and API-driven banking/PSP integrations</li></ul></li><li>

Summary
The IT Services Team Lead plays a critical role in delivering high-quality IT services to third-party customers while leading and developing a team of IT support engineers. This role is split between hands-on technical leadership and people management, ensuring operational excellence, strong customer outcomes, and continuous improvement across service delivery.
You will act as the escalation point between frontline support and senior technical engineers, while also owning team performance, customer satisfaction, and service processes in a managed services or IT services environment.<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">
Responsibilities</h3>
People Leadership &amp; Service Delivery<ul><li>
Lead, coach, and manage a team of IT Support Engineers delivering support to external customers.</li><li>
Ensure consistent, high-quality resolution of customer incidents, requests, and service issues in line with SLAs.</li><li>
Foster a customer-first, service-oriented culture focused on reliability, responsiveness, and professionalism.</li><li>
Work closely with customer stakeholders to understand requirements, priorities, and service expectations.</li><li>
Collaborate with internal teams such as Product, Engineering, and Account Management to resolve complex issues.</li><li>
Provide technical leadership during customer calls, incident bridges, and live troubleshooting sessions.</li><li>
Support workforce planning, onboarding, and skills development within the team.</li></ul>
Technical Leadership &amp; Escalation<ul><li>
Act as an escalation point for complex Tier 3/4 technical issues, including break-fix, system outages, and security incidents.</li><li>
Perform root cause analysis for recurring incidents and implement preventative solutions.</li><li>
Lead or contribute to technical problem management and post-incident reviews.</li></ul><ul><li>
Own and improve IT service management (ITSM) processes, documentation, and workflows.</li><li>
Drive efficiencies across ticketing systems, tooling, and operational practices.</li><li>

Requirements</h2><ul><li>
10+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or IT services roles.</li><li>
4+ years of experience leading or managing technical teams.</li><li>
Proven experience delivering IT services to third-party customers (e.g., MSP, MSSP, SaaS, or enterprise services environment).</li><li>
Strong background in Tier 3 support and technical escalation handling.</li></ul>
Technical Skills<ul><li>
OS-agnostic support expertise across macOS and Windows environments.</li><li>
Strong experience with Identity &amp; Access Management (IAM) and SSO platforms such as Okta, Entra ID, or JumpCloud.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with UEM solutions for device management and remote troubleshooting.</li><li>
Familiarity with ticketing systems, user lifecycle management, and service delivery tooling.</li><li>
Understanding of information security principles and secure handling of sensitive data.</li></ul>
Leadership &amp; Personal Attributes<ul><li>
Proven ability to balance people management with hands-on technical contribution.</li><li>
Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>
