The Senior AWS Platform Engineer is a strategic &quot;Greenfield&quot; leadership position focused on architecting a foundational AWS ecosystem from the ground up for a major FinTech enterprise. You will design and scale a secure, automated, and AI-ready cloud infrastructure, balancing the integration of AWS Bedrock and SageMaker with rigorous FinOps and Terraform standardization. Ultimately, you are building the scalable, high-performance &quot;engine room&quot; that will power the next generation of digital financial services.
Your responsibilities as the Senior AWS Platform Engineer include:<ul><li>
Architect and deploy production-ready AWS environments from scratch using a landing zone approach.</li><li>
Deploy, scale, and manage AWS AI/ML services (Bedrock, SageMaker, Rekognition, Textract, Lookout) to support AI-driven application development.</li><li>
Standardize all deployments using Terraform to ensure consistency and modularity.</li><li>
Manage API lifecycles using AWS API Gateway and Kong, ensuring secure and performant communication between services.</li><li>
Proactively manage cloud costs by analyzing SKUs and implementing advanced monitoring/alerting to prevent budget overruns.</li><li>
Design automated GitHub Workflows to enable seamless CI/CD for both infrastructure and application code.</li></ul>

Requirements 
We need you to have:<ul><li>
5+ years experience in the AWS ecosystem.</li><li>
Expert-level Terraform skills.</li><li>
Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and IaC (Terraform)</li><li>
Direct experience with AWS Bedrock and SageMaker.</li><li>
Expert knowledge of VPC design, Subnetting, Route 53, and Direct Connect.</li><li>
Hands-on experience with AWS API Gateway or Kong.</li><li>
A proven ability to create professional Cloud Architecture Diagrams and provide Solutions Architecture guidance.</li><li>
A strong foundational understanding of Cloud Architecture.</li></ul>
