At Degreed, we're redefining how the world learns &mdash; and we're looking for a Senior Solutions Architect who's ready to help us bring that vision to life.

As part of our Global Business Solutions team, you'll bridge the gap between technology and strategy &mdash; partnering with Sales to design and deliver solutions that help our clients build the skills of the future. You'll play a key role in enterprise and mid-market opportunities, from discovery and demos to sandbox evaluations and technical consultations that drive meaningful outcomes.

In this role, you'll combine deep technical fluency with strong business acumen, guiding senior executives through complex decisions with clarity, confidence, and creativity. You'll also help shape Degreed's next chapter by supporting our evolving AI initiatives, connecting innovation with real-world use cases.

This role reports to the Head of Global Business Solutions &ndash; Americas and plays a key part in helping Degreed deliver meaningful solutions to our global clients. 

Key Skills
<ul>
<li>Sales Engineering Expertise &ndash; 8&ndash;10 years of experience in solutions consulting, sales engineering, or architecture within SaaS environments, translating technology into client impact.</li>
<li>Enterprise Sales Support &ndash; Proven track record supporting mid-market and enterprise deals, navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.</li>
<li>Client Partnership &ndash; Skilled at engaging senior executives, understanding business needs, and designing solutions that create measurable value.</li>
<li>Technical Fluency &ndash; Strong understanding of APIs, SSO, data feeds, and system integrations; experience with SAP and Workday is a plus.</li>
<li>Solution Design &ndash; Experienced in scoping and tailoring implementations to solve real business challenges through creative and scalable architectures.</li>
<li>AI Awareness &ndash; Familiarity with modern AI ecosystems and tooling (e.g., MCP, A2A) and curiosity to explore how emerging technology enhances our solutions.</li>
<li>Communication Excellence &ndash; Exceptional ability to simplify complexity &mdash; translating technical language into clear, compelling narratives for any audience.</li>
<li>Industry Knowledge &ndash; Understanding of Human Capital Management, Learning &amp; Development, or Talent Management is highly valued.</li>
<li>Collaboration Mindset &ndash; Adept at partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Client teams to deliver cohesive solutions.</li>
<li>Flexibility &amp; Presence &ndash; Willingness to travel occasionally for key client engagements or events.</li>

Key Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Bring Degreed to life through engaging demos and consultative presentations that connect client challenges to real use cases.</li>
<li>Act as a trusted advisor to prospects and customers, guiding them on strategic approaches to implementation, integration, and long-term scalability.</li>
<li>Shape technical strategy across enterprise and mid-market deals, aligning product capabilities to business needs in collaboration with Sales.</li>
<li>Lead discovery sessions to uncover requirements, anticipate objections, and design solutions that drive measurable impact.</li>
<li>Create clarity around Degreed's architecture, configuration options, and extensibility &mdash; helping clients envision their future state.</li>
<li>Support pilots and sandbox environments by defining scope, success criteria, and implementation plans that accelerate decision-making.</li>
<li>Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Client Experience to ensure consistent and high-quality delivery throughout the sales cycle.</li>
<li>Contribute to AI innovation by leading conversations on ecosystem use, tooling, and future-state architecture that connects AI with learning impact.</li>
<li>Document and deliver proposals, statements of work, and RFP responses that clearly articulate our value and solution approach.</li>
<li>Champion Degreed's mission in every client interaction &mdash; combining technical excellence with empathy, clarity, and purpose.</li>

Compensation

We are committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.</div>
<div>The total pay range for this role is $145,000&ndash;$160,000. 
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to: skill set, depth of experience, certifications, specific work location, and internal equity.</div><div>
