<div>Dekker is hiring landscape designers. This position offers the opportunity to assist the production of a wide variety of landscape projects across various studios including Healthcare, Multifamily Housing, Federal Government, Commercial, and/or Education (K-12 &amp; Higher Ed). As passionate and self-driven team members at Dekker, candidates would play a key role in creating inspired experiences for everyone they interact with backed by support of a firm that has been a staple in the industry for 60 years. 
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Assist client-based teams through all phases of a project&rsquo;s development</li>
<li>Work directly with clients and end users 
</li>
<li>Work with clients to improve their process and flow</li>
<li>Maintain and build client-based institutional knowledge</li>
<li>Mentor and teach staff, and build the overall capacity of the firm&rsquo;s teams</li>
<li>Engage in continual research, teaching, and dialog on landscape design innovations</li>
<li>Lead pursuits of new projects, clients, and markets</li>
<li>Engage and participate firm-wide in projects across multiple offices</li></ul> 


Qualifications
<ul>
<li>This is a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite required. Applicants must live in the Phoenix, AZ metro area.</li>
</ul><ul><li>3+ years in landscape architectural planning and design or equivalent education. 
</li>
</ul><ul><li>Design-specific credentials are highly valued: SITES AP or LEED AP is a plus</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment</li>
<li>Strong graphic communicator - hand sketching, AutoCAD, Land F/X, SketchUp and Adobe Suite are essential. ArcGIS and Bluebeam and Revit are a plus</li></ul>
