<div><div><b>Information Technology Associate </b><b><i>(Maker Studio)</i></b>
<div></div><div>The Delaware County District Library is looking to fill one (1) part-time position in our Maker Studio. We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:</div>
<ul><li><b>Interest in Maker Studio services:</b> A desire to work with equipment and programs like 3D printers, laser cutters, vinyl cutters, and sewing machines.</li>
<li><b>Experience with the DIY Maker Studio movement:</b> Knowledge of the &quot;do-it-yourself&quot; creative philosophy that Maker Studios embody.</li>
<li><b>Passion to assist patrons:</b> A strong interest in helping library users design and create products using the studio's equipment.</li>
</ul><div>The 20-hour per week work schedule consists of working mornings, days, evenings, and a weekend rotation.</div>

<b>Summary of Job Responsibilities:</b> Reporting to the Information Technology Coordinator, the Information Technology Associate is responsible for organizing the Maker Studio and assisting with the daily functions of the lab.</div>
<div></div><div><b>Minimum Qualifications:</b></div>
<ul><li>High School diploma or equivalency is required.</li>
<li>Associate&rsquo;s degree or certifications in relevant information technology is preferred.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills and knowledge of computer equipment is required.</li>
<li>One to two years related experience or any equivalent combination of experience which provide the required knowledge, skills, and ability is required.</li>
<li>Ability to work days, evenings, and weekends is required. The schedule may change as the needs of the Library change.</li>
<li>Ability to travel between Library locations as needed is required.</li>
<li>Regular and predictable physical attendance is required.</li>

</ul><div><b>Duties and Responsibilities:</b></div>
<ul><li>Provides direct service to patrons (i.e., staff, groups, individuals).</li>
<li>Performs tasks essential to Maker Studio (i.e., operations, maintenance, resupply) and system-wide Library operations.</li>
<li>Assists other Library departments on operations as needed.</li>
<li>Stays up-to-date with new developments, best practices, participates in continuing education events, and attends appropriate conferences/trainings.</li>
<li>Participates in the state library association and/or other professional organization as assigned.</li>
<li>Attends regular staff and committee meetings as assigned.</li>
<li>Supports and implements the Library&rsquo;s Mission Statement, Vision Statement, Strategic Plan, and Customer Service Expectations.</li>
<li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned.</li>

<li>Majority of work performed in a public building office environment.</li>
<li>Employees should be able to lift and/or carry 25 lbs. consistently and 75 lbs. occasionally.</li>
<li>Requires travel between Library locations as needed.</li>
<li>Requires ability for extended hours as needed.</li>
<li>Requires occasional evening and/or weekends as needed.</li>

<div></div><div><div><div>The Delaware County District Library is hiring a full-time Youth Services Librarian for the Orange Branch. This position focuses on creating and delivering engaging programs and services for children and their families. Key Responsibilities for this position include<b>: d</b>eveloping and implementing children's programming and services; providing direct services to patrons (in-person, phone, and online); maintaining the collection and curating displays; and fostering relationships with local schools, community partners, and local agencies. An ALA-accredited MLS or MLIS degree is required; previous library experience is preferred. The work schedule requires availability for mornings, days, evenings, and weekend rotations. The salary range for this exempt position is $48,617 - $72,926, and depends on qualifications.</div>

<li>Develops, plans, and presents programming and services for children and teens (i.e., in-person, virtual).</li>
<li>Creates, maintains, and develops partnerships with local agencies, organizations, and school districts.</li>
<li>Provides assistance with all Library resources, services, equipment, and technology.</li>
<li>Assists patrons in the selection, location, and use of Library materials and resources.</li>
<li>Performs interlibrary loan procedures as assigned.</li>
<li>Creates and maintains displays.</li>
<li>Collection development as assigned. Builds and maintains current collections, as well as identifying and developing new collections based on community needs.</li>
<li>Builds and maintains current services directed at youth (i.e., children, teens), as well as, identifying and developing new services based on community needs.</li>
<li>Works with appropriate Administration in developing and presenting training for appropriate staff within the Library, the Library community, and community partners.</li>
