ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
<ul>
<li>Ensure all person&rsquo;s entering and exiting the facility have authorization to do so.</li>
<li>Operate office equipment such as fax machines, copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.</li>
<li>Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies and maintaining records management systems.</li>
<li>Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, and other documents, using word processing, spreadsheet, database, and/or presentation software, as requested</li>
<li>Sort and route incoming mail, answer correspondence, and prepare outgoing mail.</li>
<li>Greet visitors and determine nature and purpose of visit, direct them to specific destinations or the appropriate persons according to their needs.</li>
<li>Complete word processing and clerical assignments with review of the assignee.(Filing, typing copying)</li>
<li>Obtain, review and apply new information to Resident Room Listing, Department Notifications, and Department Directory.</li>
<li>Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to appropriate individuals.</li>
<li>Ensure no personal calls are relayed directly to personnel during his/her work hours unless it is an emergency</li>
<li>Route emergency calls appropriately.</li>
<li>Make copies of correspondence and other printed material.</li>
<li>Provide information about establishment, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided.</li>
<li>Operate communication systems, such as telephone, switchboard, intercom, two-way radio, or public address.</li>
<li>Beep individuals to inform them of telephone calls, using beeper and interoffice communication equipment.</li>
<li>If the receptionist needs to leave the front desk at any time then s/he needs to have appropriate coverage in place.</li>
<li>Oversees employees payroll distribution to the staff.</li>
<li>Schedule reception staff and assures coverage 7 days a week.</li>
<li>Completes mailings as assigned.</li>
<li>Coordinates front desk assignments for copying, projects and packets.</li>
<li>Assists with preparation of employee orientation including copies, ids, etc.</li>
<li>Alerts facility staff to new admissions and discharges.</li>
<li>Scans check requests and bills to corporate office for processing.</li>
<li>Ensures appropriate professional appearance of Lobby, receptionist entranceway.</li>
<li>Maintains active resident elopement list.</li>
<li>Provides receipts for money deposits.</li>
<li>Coordinates and scans documents into EMR system.</li>

<div>QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
<ul>
<li>Must be string in Excel and Word)</li>
<li>High School diploma or higher</li>
<li>Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining a sense of balance to ensure that staffing requirements are met for the facility.</li>
<li>Experience preferred, but will train the right candidate</li>
<li>Work independently</li>
</ul>
