The Bartender is responsible for preparing and providing beverages for all pool and/or restaurant guests, as well as creating a fun and positive experience for all guests.</div>

Functional Responsibility</b></div>
</div></div><div></div><div><div><div><b>Essential Duties</b></div>
</div><div><ul><li>Mixes and serves alcoholic beverages based on requests and orders</li>
<li>Welcomes guests in a warm and friendly manner</li>
<li>Anticipates business levels for each shift and replenishes bar inventory and supply as needed</li>
<li>Promotes upselling of products and House Wines</li>
<li>Understands and communicates promotions and events occurring at the Winery</li>
<li>Continuously looks at ways to improve service, streamline efficiencies and maximize revenue possibilities</li>
<li>Ensures the Front-of-House is presentable to guests at all times</li>
<li>Complies with all food and beverage regulations</li>
<li>Ensures the bar area is presentable at the end of each shift</li>
<li>Handles cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register</li>
<li>Develops new cocktail recipes</li>
<li>Checks guest&rsquo;s identification and confirms compliance with the legal drinking age</li>
<li>Assesses guest needs and preferences and makes recommendations</li>
<li>Delivers beverage and food orders placed by servers and delivers meals and drinks to the restaurant guests</li>
<li>Responds promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and requests</li>
<li>Assists servers with side work including, but not limited to, cleaning, stocking, polishing silverware, glassware, folding silverware, bussing, and resetting tables</li>
<li>Maintains cleanliness of work areas throughout the day by clearing, collecting, and returning food and beverage items to proper areas</li>

Minimum Requirements</b></div>

Education and Experience</b></div>
<ul><li>High School diploma or GED equivalent</li>
<li>2+ years restaurant experience</li>
<li>Bartending Certification and proven bartending experience</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Certificates and Licenses</b></div>
<ul><li>Must be at least 21 years of age</li>
<li>TIPS Certification or Certified within 90 days of employment</li>
<li>CA Food Handlers certification required</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Basic English speaking and reading skills desired</li>
<li>Ability to work in high paced work environment</li>
<li>Ability to multitask and prioritize</li>

<li>Indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to the elements/temperature variations</li>
