The Electrical Foreman is responsible to plan, supervise and perform implementation of large electrical projects. The incumbent will manage teams of Journeyman and Apprentice Electricians, providing on-site direction and leadership to complete jobs within specific guidelines and ensuring all work is done in accordance with relevant local, state, federal and site-specific rules and regulations while maintaining safety standards.</div><div>

Essential Job Functions:</b></div><ul><li>
Plans, supervises and performs all phases of installation, maintenance, repair and inspection of electrical systems</li><li>
Inspects installations for quality, ensuring codes are met</li><li>
Provides customer and client with cost estimate of proposed electrical installation, repair and/or maintenance</li><li>
Performs cost estimates and projections for electrical projects</li><li>
Reviews and evaluates electrical procedures</li><li>
Evaluates employees' progress, trains and mentors new team members</li><li>
Ensures project remains under-budget and proper quality equipment and tools are utilized</li><li>
Maintains a proper record of completed tasks and the methods used to achieve goals and objectives</li><li>
Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with NEC and NFPA requirement as well as local, city, state, and national electrical codes, and all Company and Client standards.</li></ul><div><b>
Required Minimum Qualifications:</b></div><ul><li>
High School Diploma, or Equivalent</li><li>
Valid Driver&rsquo;s License with clean driving record</li><li>
Four (4) years' experience as licensed Journeyman Electrician</li><li>
NSTC, North Slope Training Certificate</li></ul><div><b>

Take and pass a Fit-for-Duty Examination.</li></ul><div><b>
Required Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:</b></div><ul><li>
Knowledge and experience with power tools, electrical equipment and construction equipment</li><li>
Knowledge of electrical codes</li><li>
Knowledge of proper electrical equipment use conducive to conditions and assignments including adherence to Hazardous Materials and Safety Regulations</li><li>
Comprehensive knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, operational and mechanical systems including installation, test, maintenance and repair</li><li>
Understanding of how electrical system operates under normal and emergency conditions</li><li>
Understanding of electrical schematics, diagrams and blueprints</li><li>
Verbal and written communication skills</li><li>
Skilled in repair of electrical equipment, wiring, and other fixtures.</li><li>
Strong mechanical, analytical and solution driven skills</li><li>
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Etc.)</li><li>
Basic math skills</li><li>
Strong troubleshooting ability</li><li>
Ability to diagnose system malfunctions, locate cause of breakdown and recommend solution</li><li>
Ability to recognize and respond to dangerous situations or emergencies such as high voltage systems, electrical fires, loose hot wires, broken power lines, etc.</li><li>
Ability to give direction and oversight to helpers and apprentices</li></ul><div><b>
