Delta Engineers, Architects, Land Surveyors, &amp; Landscape Architects, DPC (Delta) is a multidisciplinary AEC firm founded in 1976 and based in the Southern Tier of New York State with additional offices in Central New York and Chevy Chase, MD. We deliver architectural and engineering design for facilities and infrastructure as well as environmental engineering, survey, landscape architecture, specialty precast and ecological services to public and private clients. WHO WE NEED

Come join our Transportation Team as we continue to improve the communities where we live, work, grow, and play! Delta is looking to hire an experienced hands-on Bridge and Culvert Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have NYSDOT, and federal aid funded pass-through project experience. As a Bridge and Culvert Project Manager you will have the opportunity to take responsibility of projects with many of our long-term clients at the county and municipal levels, while also establishing additional clientele.
The ideal candidate&rsquo;s responsibilities will include overall project management, with primary focus points being:
<ul>
<li>Supervision and management of design staff. The technical staff you&rsquo;ll be working with range from recent college graduates to those with more than 16 years of post-graduate experience.</li>
<li>Review and mentoring of design assignments on your project. Our design software includes, but is not limited to, Merlin Dash, LEAP Bridge, InRoads, MicroStation, STAAD, and SAP 2000.</li>
<li>Collaborate with the Group Director, Business Development Department, and other Senior Staff on Marketing and Business Development for the Transportation Department with a primary focus on bridges and culverts.</li>
<li>Consistent communication with other project managers, client contacts, and county/state agencies that are engaged in reviews of your team&rsquo;s assignments.</li>
<li>Meet with and / or present to clients and the public.
</li><li>Point of contact for internal and external communications.</li>
<li>Our clients range within state level agencies, local municipalities and include other subconsultant engineering firms; this will occasionally require you to work outside of normal business hours to meet the needs of our clientele.</li>
<li>Responsible for meeting project deadlines and budgets.
</li><li>Present at weekly team meeting to discuss workload and staff assignments.</li>
</ul>
Additional Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>A BS (preferred, Associates acceptable) in Civil Engineering with ten or more years of design and project management experience</li>
<li>NYS PE, or a PE in another northeastern state with mixed seasons and ability to secure licensure in NYS within a reasonable timeframe (&lt;3 years)</li>
<li>Familiarity with AASHTO and NYSDOT design standards</li>
<li>Proven client relationship skills</li>
<li>A sincere interest in working in a collaborative environment which encourages open discussion and learning / teaching moments among its colleagues</li>
</ul>
This is a full-time position available preferably at our headquarters in Endwell NY, or at one of our other upstate NY offices in Vernon, Syracuse, or Schenectady. This position, upon being acclimated and trained with the Transportation team, will be eligible to work remotely one day a week and four days from a Delta office location.

Delta is driven to exceed our clients&rsquo; expectations on every project. Accordingly, the successful applicant for this position must be willing to occasionally work adjusted hours/overtime.

WHAT WE OFFER

Hiring Salary Range: $110,000-$130,000 (Salary to be determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities along with an internal equity and alignment with market area data.)
