Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires Friday/Saturday/Sunday/Mondays overnight as work days, strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a commitment to upholding safety protocols. The Security Guard will monitor premises through CCTV and surveillance systems, respond to incidents, and ensure compliance with security procedures.Duties<ul><li>Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.</li><li>Operate CCTV and surveillance equipment to maintain constant oversight of the premises.</li><li>Respond promptly to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies, taking appropriate action as necessary.</li><li>Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and facilities to ensure safety and security.</li><li>Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.</li><li>Provide first aid or CPR assistance when required during emergencies.</li><li>Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary for incident reporting or investigations.</li><li>Document incidents, observations, and activities in detailed reports for management review.</li><li>Assist in loss prevention efforts by identifying potential theft or safety hazards.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certification is preferred.</li><li>Proven experience in law enforcement or security roles is highly desirable.</li><li>Certification in conflict management is a plus.</li><li>Knowledge of CCTV operation and surveillance techniques is essential.</li><li>First aid and CPR certification are preferred; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.</li><li>Strong observational skills with attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.</li><li>Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage conflicts.</li><li>A militarized background may be beneficial but is not required.</li></ul>Join our team as a Security Guard where your skills will contribute to creating a safe environment for everyone involved.
