Deltronic is hiring and offering an excellent 1st shift opportunity to candidates who are experienced with dimensional inspections, blueprint interpretation, and document control to join our Quality Department.Job OverviewIn this role, you act as the first line of defense against defects, performing routine checks under the direct supervision of the Quality Control Manager. This role operates under AS9100 guidelines, using precision measurement tools and collaborating closely with production and quality teams to maintain the highest quality standards.Work Schedule: 6am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday (Overtime likely)Core Responsibilities<ul><li>Inspections &amp; Testing: Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional tests on raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to identify defects.</li><li>Measurement: Use precision tools like calipers, micrometers and gauges.</li><li>Documentation: Record all inspection results in detailed logs or quality databases, including pass/fail status and specific measurements.</li><li>Comply with AS9100 document control processes.</li><li>Non-Conformance Handling: Identify and isolate defective or &quot;suspect&quot; products to prevent them from moving further down the production line or reaching customers.</li><li>Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9100 requirements.</li><li>Equipment Maintenance: Ensure measurement tools are properly calibrated and functioning correctly before use.</li></ul>Key Requirements &amp; Skills<ul><li>Education: A high school diploma or GED.</li><li>Experience: 1&ndash;2 years of experience.</li><li>Technical Skills: Basic ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
