We are dedicated to providing a paid position that values your skills and contributions every step of the way.Responsibilities<ul><li>Operate dump trucks, including tractor-trailers and roll-off trucks, to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, debris, or waste to designated locations.</li><li>Load and unload freight accurately using appropriate equipment like forklifts when necessary.</li><li>Drive route schedules efficiently while adhering to all safety regulations and traffic laws.</li><li>Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance needs are addressed promptly.</li><li>Maintain detailed logs of deliveries, routes, and vehicle inspections for compliance purposes.</li><li>Assist with the setup and securement of loads on flatbed or refrigerated trailers as required.</li><li>Communicate effectively with dispatchers and site personnel to coordinate delivery times and address any issues promptly.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Proven experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, or roll-off trucks in a commercial driving environment.</li><li>Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and truck driving regulations.</li><li>Experience with route driving, load &amp; unload procedures, and freight handling.</li><li>Knowledge of different trailer types including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and freight containers.</li><li>Delivery driver experience preferred, especially in construction or waste management sectors.</li><li>Ability to operate additional equipment such as forklifts safely when needed.</li><li>Valid commercial driver&rsquo;s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for heavy-duty truck operation.
