We are growing and looking for a reliable, positive, and efficient Dental Assistant who takes pride in excellent patient care and smooth clinical flow. THIS IS A LONG TERM POSITION, previous employment history will be reviewed to screen for candidates who have longer employment history i.e stayed with a company for few years at least.This is a great opportunity for someone who wants stability, respect, and room to grow in a supportive boutique, patient -centered private office (not corporate). We value our employees and take pride in providing quality dental care and experience (see our 5 star google reviews) to our patients.Position Details<ul><li>Schedule: 24-30 hours/week to begin</li><li>Employment Type: Full-Time</li><li>Base salary Compensation: $20&ndash;$27/hour (based on attitude, experience, reliability, punctuality, commitment -Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and cross training capabilities.</li><li>Start Date: ASAP</li><li>Schedule: M and W -9:30-7 (until last patient leaves), Friday 9-5pm, late evenings and weekend availability required </li><li>1 OR 2 Saturdays/ month on as needed basis</li><li>preferred 1 year of dental assisting experience but willing to train the right person </li></ul>Primary Responsibilities<ul><li>Chair-side assisting for general dentistry procedures</li><li>Take digital X-rays and intra-oral photos</li><li>Set up and break down operatories efficiently</li><li>Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols-Must handle all clinical operations, infection/ sterile department responsibility ownership, OSHA, HIPAA, infection controls, CPR must be current and maintained active while employed -Dental supplies inventory management, room stocking and maintain systems and organization</li><li>Assist with all general and cosmetic procedures, specialist endodontics, oral surgery and periodontal procedures</li><li>proficient with full arch edentulous intra-oral scan, or Invisalign scan within 3-5 mins</li><li>Ensure smooth patient flow between 3 operatories</li><li>Support positive patient experience</li></ul>Required Qualifications<ul><li>NJ Radiology (X-ray) License &mdash; REQUIRED efficient x-ray taking skills </li><li>Minimum 1 year dental assisting experience in general dentistry</li><li>Comfortable flipping rooms independently</li><li>Strong sterilization workflow knowledge</li><li>Reliable and punctual</li><li>Positive team attitude</li><li>Secondary responsibility cross-trained to perform some basic front desk tasks during down time: scheduling patients, basic Insurance knowledge and treatment plan understanding, collecting payments (training will be provided if necessary but competency required within 3 months of probationary period) </li></ul>Preferred (Nice to Have)<ul><li>Open Dental experience</li><li>Experience in fast-paced private practice</li><li>Coronal polishing, invisalign attachment placements, fabricating temp crowns (if licensed)</li><li>Bilingual is a plus</li></ul>Why Join Our Office<ul><li>Stable, respectful private practice environment</li><li>Consistent hours (no corporate chaos)</li><li>Supportive doctor and team</li><li>Opportunity to grow into Lead Assistant role</li><li>Modern digital workflow</li></ul>Qualified candidates will be invited for a paid working interview.
