Dental Land Pediatrics is looking for a professional, experienced, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our pediatric dental team.Our office is a high-quality, child-centered dental practice where excellent care, professionalism, and a positive patient experience are top priorities. We are looking for someone who can bring patience, compassion, attention to detail, and strong dental assisting skills to our practice each day.Responsibilities<ul><li>Assist the doctor during pediatric dental procedures in an efficient and professional manner</li><li>Set up, break down, disinfect, and maintain treatment rooms according to office standards</li><li>Properly clean, sterilize, organize, and maintain dental instruments</li><li>Take high-quality dental radiographs</li><li>Help children feel comfortable, safe, and supported during their appointments</li><li>Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, parents, and team members</li><li>Chart accurately and document patient visits appropriately</li><li>Help keep the clinical schedule flowing smoothly throughout the day</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinical area</li></ul>Qualifications<ul><li>Previous dental assisting experience required</li><li>Pediatric dental assisting experience strongly preferred</li><li>X-ray certification required or willingness/ability to obtain</li><li>Strong communication and people skills</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills</li><li>Reliable, punctual, and team-focused</li><li>Able to work well in a busy, fast-paced dental office</li><li>Professional appearance, attitude, and communication style</li></ul>We Are Looking for Someone Who<ul><li>Arrives on time and prepared for the day</li><li>Takes initiative and follows through without needing constant direction</li><li>Works quickly and efficiently while still maintaining quality</li><li>Is patient, kind, and calm with children</li><li>Communicates professionally with parents, patients, and coworkers</li><li>Takes pride in keeping treatment rooms and instruments clean and organized</li><li>Wants to be part of a practice that values excellence, accountability, compassion, and teamwork</li></ul>Why Work With Us?Dental Land Pediatrics is proud to offer a supportive, family-friendly, and professional work environment.
