Our dental practice located In Mission Viejo, is looking for an Oral Surgeon (Board&#8209;Certified or General Dentist with Oral Surgery Focus) to work one or two days a month.Practice Description<ul><li>A busy, well&#8209;equipped dental practice serving Mission Viejo and surrounding communities.</li><li>Modern surgical suite on site.</li><li>Full support staff, including surgical assistants, sterile processing, and administrative support.</li><li>Strong network of referring specialists: general dentists, periodontists, orthodontists, pediatric dentists, etc.</li></ul>Key Responsibilities<ul><li>Perform oral surgery procedures, including but not limited to:</li><li>Tooth extractions (including impacted wisdom teeth)</li><li>Dental implants and bone grafting</li><li>Minor/maxillofacial surgeries as needed</li><li>Manage facial trauma, cysts, biopsies, etc.</li><li>Provide pre&#8209;op and post&#8209;op care and patient follow&#8209;ups.</li><li>Administer or supervise sedation / anesthesia (IV / general / sedation as applicable).</li><li>Interpret diagnostic imaging (X&#8209;rays, CBCT) for surgical planning.</li><li>Collaborate with other dental specialists and referring dentists.</li><li>Maintain patient records, comply with all regulatory/safety and infection control standards.</li></ul>Qualifications / Requirements<ul><li>DDS or DMD degree.</li><li>Board certification or Board eligibility in Oral &amp; Maxillofacial Surgery OR a General Dentist with extensive training/experience in oral surgery.</li><li>Valid California dental license.</li><li>Strong surgical skills and confidence performing a wide range of oral surgical procedures.</li><li>Excellent communication, patient care and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Ability to work well with staff and in a team environment.</li></ul>Compensation &amp; BenefitsPercentage, 50% production based modelHow to Apply&#8209; Submit CV / resume detailing surgical experience and certifications. &#8209; Provide references.Job Type: ContractPay: $127,648.26 - $153,726.94 per yearWork Location: In person
